Sia’s everywhere lately, having finally attained the massive level of success she’s deserved for decades that span from her start as a member of Zero 7, through her brilliant solo work, on to her magnificent song crafting for other artists, and finally back to her powerful projects as herself today. I wonder how many of you remember her guest vocals on New York dark electronic duo CREEP’s Dim The Lights a few years back. For a bit of a refresher, Brooklyn’s Nick Catchdubs’ new remix of Dim The Lights takes us back into the enchantment of the song, but in a lighter, more delicate fashion. This is a future bass remix of weightless ethereal beauty, a labyrinth journey of sparkling fantasy.

I really hope dark electro R&B goddess BANKS is working on some new material, because I’m missing her smoky voice and hauntingly sensual soundscapes lots. In the meantime, we take sublime comfort in this new remix of Better by Australian producer Kuren, who sends us into a thundering world of somber majesty on the intense spectacular. Not only do we get to hear BANKS’ shiver inducing, powerful vocals once again, but we’re swept into a bottomless ocean of heightened emotion and vehement passion on the future bass makeover.

Some splendid remixes of Mr. Rogers’ infectious song, I’ll Take You, have been out and about delighting many an ear on Big Beat Records lately. I previously shared a smashing take by NYC’s Jenaux, but let’s now dive into Solidisco’s electro funk lavish and piano house bouncing edit. Its vibrant chords and rich pulsing set my feet afire, rocketing them up repeatedly off the ground to no end. Snag all the lite I’ll Take You remixes on iTunes.

Well crafted “folk house” never gets old in my books. That’s exactly what German duo BUNT deliver on their new original Old Guitar, full of bright jangles and deep house exuberance. It’ll have you air strumming your invisible guitar and shouting “hey” along with the song in no time. Old Guitar is like an explosive nuclear fusion of Of Monsters And Men, Mumford & Sons, and Kygo, and it’s available now on iTunes.

The moment I heard Neil Thomas’ debut single Home some months ago, I knew it was a knock out punch with its snappy groove and cozy soul, alongside the British newcomer’s sensational vocals. He much reminded me of other sensational artists, like Max Frost and Danger Mouse himself. It was also obvious that these vibes would lend themselves quite spectacularly to a summery house re-work, and Norway’s Jonas Vincent has expertly delivered exactly that on a deep and intoxicating remix that premiered on Soundcloud channel La Tropicál. Neil Thomas’ voice takes on a woozy warm haze on the richly stylish edit. Jonas Vincent’s remix is available on Spotify.

It’s a euphoric combinations of two emerging indie acts that I love dearly on this remix, a re-imagining of Los Angeles trio LANY’s I Don’t Care by now Fueled By Ramen signed Oregon synthpop act Flor. I Don’t Care goes bright, airy, and jaunty on the indie dance remix, a full bodied burst of blithe and buoyant charm. It’s sunshine and crisp ocean waves, cloudless blue skies and top down cruises down vast highways on this beautiful remix.

It’s been far too long since we last heard from British producer Danglo, but he’s finally back with an infusion of effervescent, summery electronica to brighten up our day on new song Complete, featuring dazzling vocals by Ivan Franco. Let’s go tropically Balearic alongside Danglo and Ivan Franco as the two team up to send rays of amorously uplifting joy through the center of our beings. Complete is completely enamoring, its soulful house and cool weightlessness a glowing treat off an EP of the same name out on Kitsune. Grab it on iTunes.

argonaut&wasp’s Higher Ground is no new gem, but the Vermont duo’s song which has been enchanting and melting me for a year now just received a fine music video treatment. The song itself is such a velvet plush, dexterous groover. It’s a sexy, wonky funk jam with copious deep house resplendence. The new heated video is the fitting accompaniment to the lustful burn of Higher Ground. The single comes from argonaut&wasp’s Future Protoccal EP, available on iTunes.

Out of Los Angeles comes a new bedroom alt soul producer named VOKES, and he’s a smooth Casanova on breezy debut Cruel Game. He croons “what a cruel game you play” but if anyone’s playing a cruel yet sublime game, it’s him, wooing us eternally with his 80′s new wave suffused dreamy soul pop. VOKES’ swoon factor is up there alongside HONNE, with a touch of Lostboycrow charm and some Great Good Fine OK satin sheen. Cruel Game is the first single from VOKES’ debut EP, Fractalism.
