Finland’s Tontario turns in a luscious, rich remix of fellow rising Finish dance act Tom & Hills’ Lighters, featuring beautiful vocals by Troi. He gives the cinematic original a bumping, deep meets progressive house edit that oozes summer nu-disco vibes and warm, radiant sunshine. Don’t forget to bring this one with you when you head to that pool party full of gorgeous people to close out your weekend.

I absolutely adore Swedish indie pop band Urban Cone’s Come Back To Me, which feature Tove Lo, but I must say, this cover by Swedish singer songwriter and producer Lucas Nord is spectacular. He turns down on the original’s spirited tempo with approach on the song which retains the original’s enchanting quality but gives it a huge dosage of smooth soulfulness and a swooning abundance of Nord’s sensual R&B crooning.

This one came to my attention rather late in the day, but as soon as I the words Hippie Sabotage, I knew this was going to be a must for today’s features. After all, the Sacramento based electronic duo has never failed to take me beyond cloud nine with their ethereal flips of so many great songs in the past, including what is likely everyone’s favorite, Tove Lo’s Habits. For their latest divine flip, Hippie Sabotage remixes Toronto songstress Tali Kouch’s Able To See Me, infusing it with that Hippie Sabotage choppy beauty we hold so dear to our hearts. It’s an other wordly chill trap track sure to transport you to a magical, dreamy world.

An Usher classic gets a surreal, ethereal re-imagining on It’s Okay Girl, courtesy of a producer from Trinidad & Tobago named London Future. He heavily samples from Usher’s You Don’t Have To Call, a song that brings back plentiful good memories from the early 2000′s. With it, London Future crafts a spacious, lurchy behemoth, laced with Jersey bounce, futuristic swells, jagged bass, and trappy pulses. It’s an earth shaking yet slick banger that will blow your mind.

Major Lazer dropped a new one today, which is usually a pretty big deal. Powerful is a track full of grit and soul, featuring fantastic vocals by British pop star Ellie Goulding and reggae act Tarrus Riley. There’s an electrifying quality to Powerful despite its surprisingly restrained production. The bold and magnificent song is a captivating, expansive ballad. Powerful is easily one of my favorite Major Lazer tracks, alongside Get Free. It’s taken from Major Lazer’s new album, Peace Is The Mission, out June 1st.

Earlier this year, a duo fresh out of London named Whilk and Misky swept us away with their soulful acoustic meets electronic music, reminding many of us of a blend of Milky Chance, Vance Joy, and Chet Faker. They have a new one for us today named Two Bridges, and though it still has a sliver of that bluesy, folksy soul vibe going on, it’s also a surprisingly heavy hitting electronic track. It’s their danciest and most garage yet, full of filthy synths and sharp edges. The spectacularly heady and hypnotic treat is more like a Disclosure meets Chet Faker concoction, a powerful and dark mind bender. Along with the new release, Whilk and Misky are also gearing up for their debut headline show on July 8th in London, over at Birthdays, Dalston.

Genre defying Los Angeles based duo Magic Bronson dropped a Wildlife remix bundle, free to download, that includes several dope renditions of their infectious tunes. Off the three track release comes a remix of their insanely infectious song Fences by SF Bay’s own MyKill. Having gotten used to some of MyKill’s previously featured tunes, which were very summery and dreamy tunes, I was quite surprised to hear this indie dance edit that bounces with a light step and a more crisp and airy liveliness. Entrancing and euphoric, MyKill’s Fences is a colorful splash of whimsical, infectious fun. The remix was also mastered by another Bay Area talent, Party Ben.

Australian singer songwriter and producer LANKS never fails at swooning me thoroughly with his incredibly sensual music and his melting crooning. Latest single Settle Down is just as potent of a force in that area, and it also showcases the producer’s talent when it comes to haunting, shadowy soundscapes. Tt’s an exquisite, brooding track from LANKS’ upcoming EP Banquet, out July 3rd. He’s also released a new video to accompany the song. It’s a bit bizarre, adding to the artsy, experimental Hundred Waters like effect I’ve noticed on Settle Down.

If ever there were a match made in music heaven, this might be it. Fast rising Los Angeles based singer songwriter SIVIK is already one of my top favorite new acts this year, and now his synthpop song U Got has received an enrapturing remix by Florida’s always intoxicating XXYYXX. The producer turns the track into a skittering, heady electronic R&B jam. The provocative remix is deeply sensual and shiny, satiny smooth. I’ve always loved how dark XXYYXX’s productions are, and he certainly amps it up on this one near the end of the remix. Get ready to be haunted.

Hayden James dropped a quirky music video for his latest jam Something About You, a more than ample reason to revisit the fantastic single. It’s been quite a journey, obsessing over Hayden James’ Permission To Love nearly two years ago, watching him garner more and more attention while signed to Future Classic, then catching him live recently. The Australian producer continues to have me transfixed with his blend of soulful and deep house. Pre-order the track on iTunes.
