Aside from having a popping name that’s already imbued with a whole lot of frisky fire, Papa Ya has been inspiring us to dance our way to euphoria with their ebullient jams. The Los Angeles duo’s latest such tune is a heated bop named Explicit. R&B inflected vocals and firecracker beats swoon and crackle on the bass booming banger. Explicit’s a track that will be soundtracking our summer. It’s a lusciously grooving Years & Years meets Clean Bandit sort of theme for your epic pool parties and your passionate summer romances. You can also stream Explicit on Spotify, here.

Ecotek is a from Denver with a penchant for a wide array of electronic genres, including deep house, electro, techno, and atmospheric. He goes the chill melodic house route on his latest exhilarating dance original, By Your Side. It’s a summery burst of prismatic sunset skies and idyllic island bliss. It may be raining cats and dogs outside my office tonight, but Ecotek provides a brief respite from the bitter cold with his earthy stomping, verdant lunging electronica. The single, as well as an extended version of it, are both available via iTunes, here.

It may not be summer anymore, but it sure feels like it still is when we’re cruising with The Hunna to their first new song since last year’s debut album. Summer is a wind in your hair, sunshine in your face, sand underneath your feet sort of anthem from the English band. It even comes with a music video filled with poolside shots and beach side clips. It’s obvious this four piece band isn’t planning on slowing down at all when it comes to infectious rock. Word is, they’re already putting together their next full length.

We’ve been extremely loyal fans of Capital Cities for the past half decade, and we watched with so much pride when the Los Angeles based dance pop and disco funk project exploded onto everyone’s radars with long championed single Safe And Sound, one of the best tunes ever to dance to with your best buddies live. Sebu Simonian and Ryan Merchant continue to give us excellent reason to stay devout fans as they surprise us with a seasonal EP named Swimming Pool Summer, from which comes this balmy swaying, saccharine glowing treat, Girl Friday, featuring legendary rapper Rick Ross. It even comes with an endearing animated lyric video. Swimming Pool Summer is out now via iTunes, here.

Australia by way of the UK producer Latchmere drops an infectious banger on us in the form of his latest song You. His buoyant springing house is the perfect summer evening soundtrack. It skips and hops in wide eyed jubilation. You’s vocal effects and choppy chords are reminiscent of Galantis, but with a cool airiness and a sparkly dusting of powdered sugar. Feel the weight of your worries fade away as you dance the night away to Latchmere’s You, which is a free download, here.

I was already into I Hear You during its exuberant opening chords, which very much remind me of Junior Senior melded into Galantis. But this isn’t any Junior Senior re-visit or a Galantis tweak, this is an eruption of full on feel good summer dance revelry from Dutch production duo Vicetone. Their behemoth new electro house single is an effulgent burst of prismatic synths and high voltage chops, and it would come as no surprise if I Hear You became one of the big  dance hits of the summer. Snag the track via major retailers, here.

I really don’t think André Allen Anjos ever takes a day off! The Grammy winning producer known as RAC always has a steady stream of delectable treats for us, be it dazzling originals like his recent single I Still Wanna Know with Rivers Cuomo, or now this cool refreshing summer delight, a remix of Vice’s Obsession featuring Jon Bellion. And this, all in the midst of gearing up for the release of a new album named EGO on July 14th, too! RAC has given Obsession a bubbly aerated, bright prancing edit that could keep me dancing for days on end. The sanguine lifting remix can be streamed or downloaded via additional outlets, here. I can’t wait to catch RAC at Outside Lands Music Festival in August. You can catch him, too. He’ll be on tour this fall as he traverses the nation. Find out more, here.

We’ve made it pretty clear how doubly excited we are for RAC’s new album and for his appearance at Outside Lands Music Festival this August, too. The Grammy nominated producer unleashed a dazzling summertime prancer off of EGO earlier this month in the form of I Still Wanna Know, which features none other than Rivers Cuomo of Weezer fame. Let’s twirl about in ecstasy to a lifting remix of that song by Los Angeles producer Goldroom. He amplifies the song’s balmy buoyancy by administering a glowing dance pop treatment on the jocund remix. Goldroom will also be at Outside Lands Music Festival later this summer. It’s going to be a mighty fine weekend of uplifting and vibrant music with these two at hand. Pre-order RAC’s album EGO ahead of its release on July 14th, here

Illustrious Chicago trio Autograf may have named their new single Simple, but there’s never anything simple about their meticulously crafted electronic compositions. Simple, which features pristine vocals by NYC chanteuse Victoria Zhao, is an eclectic and aromatic anthem that flawlessly infuses luminous organic elements into its brisk, bubbling house anatomy. Simple is the sweet bliss of summer, taken in from under a cool, refreshing shade. Download the dexterous trio’s new single, here.

A new paycheck is always fine reason to celebrate and paint the town red (with hopefully not all of your newly acquired funds), but a track entitled Paycheck that unites Indiana based electropop project The Ready Set and long time Santa Barbara IHM favorites Dropout is a late night dance soiree must! We somehow managed to let this one slip by after it dropped late last month, but it’s never too late to revel in Paycheck’s rosy twinkling glow. With crystalline chords and a brisk endearing melody, Paycheck lifts our spirits and warms the heart. The future tropical anthem is a summer playlist must. The feel good anthem can also be streamed via Spotify, here.
