Australia’s Night Tales first dazzled us late last year with their debut single Move You, a deep pumping, dark sweltering electronic ode to unrequited love. The duo, formed by producer Third Floor and singer songwriter Kamaliza (previously of Olympic Ayres), return with an ace new jam named Want, which we can’t stop wanting more of after grooving to our hearts content to the song’s balmy sunset house and silky crooning by guest vocalist fellow Australian songstress Kimono. Chill disco beats, sultry horns, and some sweet RÜFÜS vibes abound on the molten electronic track. Want is out now on Majestic Casual. Find it, here.

StéLouse has been a long favorite on IHM. And we just learned that the Denver based producer has chosen to change his name, or rather, the way he spells his name, to StayLoose (perhaps to avoid any pronunciation confusion?). With the nom du plume transformation comes a new song that marks a fresh direction for the esteemed artist, too. Fight Back, which features ever pervasive guest vocalist Nevve on spirited vocals, ventures deep into high voltage melodic pop with its rhythmic marching beats, high flying melody, and rollicking percussion. It’s a vigorous and mighty anthem, a tenaciously encouraging rallying cry. StayLoose explains:

“With so much happening in the world and everyone with a different opinion and belief system, we must remember that its through a unified front, through taking a stand together, that we have the ability to make the changes we wish to see in the world”. Fight Back, out on Dim Mak, can be found on Apple Music, here.

Infatuation and obsession, hallmarks of lovelorn crushes, can be incredibly confusing and frustrating. Try as we might, due to our fear of getting our hearts fractured, we can’t shake the person we’ve unwittingly given said hearts to. And even if a storybook romance ends up blooming, our own paranoia and the ghosts of our past relationships haunt us, leaving us second guessing our amorous fortune. XY&O’s Shades Of You, a sleek pumping, fluorescent gliding electronica and pop hybrid with a summery, balmy glow, captures those precarious tendencies. The Welsh trio’s sparkling, billowing track is pure bliss, but it oozes bittersweet restlessness and lovesick disquietude, too. It’s a gorgeously stirring return by XY&O, a dreamy gusting, silky sailing ointment for our jittery hearts. Stream/download the single, here.

Ghosted, who are fresh on our radar, is a songwriting and production outfit from the UK. The trio have more than thrilled us and won us over with their latest single, Feel On Me, which features UK singer songwriter JHart on smooth impassioned vocals. Feel On Me’s exultant pop is infused with vivacious thrumming synths and high voltage dance beats, making it a heart-bursting celebration of love and desire. Perhaps it comes as no surprise that MNEK had a hand in co-writing this sweeping song alongside JHart. After all, Feel On Me sort of feels like Youngr gone MNEK, infinitely contagious, scalding hot, and wonderfully upbeat. The single is out now, here.

Bazzi might very well be the most exciting new tycoon-in-the-making when it comes to hip hop/R&B soul, his buzz continues to grow with each new day as more and more fans gravitate towards songs like Gone and Mine. We’ve already shared Electric Mantis’ remix of Mine, and talked about how his songs are resonating with some incredible producers, considering the edits that are coming to light these days. Now, let’s soar into the sky on the the wings of Vancouver production duo Young Bombs’ interpretation of Mine, too. An iridescent combination of smooth future bass and melodic soaring trap infuses Mine with expansive warmth. Young Bombs states that Mine is one of their favorite tracks of the year, and they went through an emotional journey while creating their gorgeous remix, which can also be streamed via Spotify, here.

It’s impossible not to “Feel It” when Vincent takes on KRANE for a truly resplendent future bass remix. The Canadian producer has given the Oakland native’s Feel It, featuring CXLOE and Khamsin, a spectacularly ravishing re-work. He cranked out this regal marching, grandly surging future trap edit in Dim Mak’s studios, giving us a larger than life, utterly exhilarating new take on the original. The track comes off of Krane’s Fallout (The Remixes) release, which is available, here.

As we dive into a brand new tune from Toronto’s NEW CITY, I feel like we’ve gone full circle. It was almost exactly a year ago that the alt/electro-pop outfit made their debut with Coachella, and now we get to share Getting Closer just as many of my music friends are preparing to make their annual pilgrimage to the festival these next few weekends. NEW CITY’s Coachella was an instant success, as expected, as was their following releases. They’ve since signed to Mosley (Timbaland’s new label) and Universal. Balmy electronica and infectious pop hooks abound on new single Getting Closer, which explores the ups and downs that come with chasing dreams and the courage it takes to trust yourself. The song is a declaration of empowerment, a mellifluous feel good anthem to carry us into the summer months. Getting Closer is available from major outlets, here.

Germany’s Mazde makes a welcome return with evocative new music after dazzling his fast growing fan base with his debut EP, Shifted Thoughts, by partnering up again with Spanish siren LissA on 390. Her acrobatic pop vocals and Mazde’s smooth throbbing, opulent sheering electronic production takes us on a tactile journey that we gladly lose ourselves in. In some ways, 390 feels like a slow burning, fluid enthralling Flume track, minus all the jarring jabs and sharp edges. We’re left in a dream like trance, floating among the clouds. The beautifully stirring future styled anthem is available at iTunes, here.

Tonight, let’s take a trip to Tokyo on the wings of this fanciful billowing beauty, which comes courtesy of a supernova combination of international talent. British outfit Digital Farm Animals, Toronto’s Shaun Frank, and Canadian electropop troupe Dragonette unite to drench us with neon synths and buoyant beats on Tokyo Nights. For a few brief moments, I feel like I’m walking the streets of Shibuya again, eyes bright with wonder and heart aflutter with love. An exuberant pastiche of indie flavored dance pop and summery electro brightens our night on the feel good anthem, which is available from major outlets, here.

You can’t really fault me for being glad that Kill Paris never ended up changing his name, right? I mean, the inspiration behind it a few years ago was nothing but honorable and respectable, but I would never have gotten used to calling him anything else but Kill Paris. The long time production luminary has returned with a dreamy stirring, flushed and sentimental future bass aria named Made Of Time, featuring dewy vocals by fellow Californian Trove as well as misty aureate cooing by Emily Vaughn (both of whom contributed to writing the song, too). Made Of Time is a fleecy embrace, whose gentle lurches and sweetly melting ambiance can thaw the coldest of hearts. You can also stream Made Of Time via Spotify, here.
