I HEART MOOSIQ PREMIERE:

In the midst of preparing an EP,

Nashville alt and synth trio CRUSOE have revealed its title track, a mesmerizingly dramatic gem appropriately named Captivate. Captivate is infectiously vibrant, albeit in an astronomically dark and moody fashion. It surges, expands, and diffuses with a burning, fervent passion. CRUSOE’s latest is a powerful electronic pop and intricate synthrock combination, a rousing torrent of intense vocals, droning synths, and fluttering keys. CRUSOE’s Captivate EP will be out this Friday, October 2nd. If you missed previously featured song Atomic Dove, head over to CRUSOE’s Soundcloud to have a listen!

Tropikult artist and NYC based producer N2N teams up with guitarist/producer John Skyfield and UK singer songwriter Kirkby on a madly hooking banger named Some Kind Of Wonderful. It’s an earworm of a composition that blends deep house, nu-disco, piano house, and tropical future into one wildly dashing monster of a tune. There’s even a touch of future funk and a little Spaghetti Western going on in there if we were to try and pick apart all the various components within Some Kind Of Wonderful’s mosaic of bright, prismatic sound. Some kind of wonderful, indeed! Download the behemoth track for free from Tropikult.

There’s a mysterious new electronic act named 19Hundred (or XIX) who’s turning heads and enrapturing endless hearts with their brand of gorgeously uplifting and deeply moving house music. The duo from London first enigmatically appeared a few months ago with a spectacular Adele bootleg that I love so very much. Stream 19Hundred’s Set Fire below, and get ready to lose yourself in its deep dusky decadence. Since then, 19Hundred has finally released a first official original named Oh Boy, featuring crisp, enticing vocals by Daisy Finetto of Mausi, a UK dance pop band that’s been a long time object of affection on IHM since its early days. Classy UK house meets deep summery chill on the soulful house jam which gets a release on October 30th via Soundplate Records. Again, lest you forget, do yourself a favor and check out Set Fire below, too. Your ears and soul will thank you for it.

If you want to watch a killer video, soundtracked by a wicked good tune, and you love seeing Lorde kicking some butt, then you’re in for a real treat. Today saw the release of a music video for Disclosure’s Magnets, which of course, features Lorde on bewitching vocal duty. The track is off Disclosure’s just released sophomore album Caracal, one of the most eagerly anticipated releases all year long. Grab some popcorn and let’s all enjoy how cool Lorde is in this video. The ending is rather satisfying, trust me. If you haven’t snagged your copy of star studded Caracal yet, it’s available on iTunes.

If NRG, which formidably united Duck Sauce, Skrillex, Kill The Noise, and Milo & Otis all in one, isn’t already a mind blowing feat of infectious dance energy and an epic amalgamation of production talent, then this Choppa Dunks Flip will certainly take it straight over the top and sky high with its dauntless exertion and filthy grit. If it’s wide eyed, joyous build ups and face melting drops you crave, then get ready to get down and dirty to the fest ready, bass blasting flip. You can download the NYC based producer’s violently bombastic remix for free, here.

Whoa, I didn’t actually intend to share two tunes that both involved Lido right next to each other, but here we are, following up the last Wave Racer/Lido collaborative feature with a remix of Hoodboi’s Palm Reader, which features Norwegian producer Lido! I guess we’re having a Lido moment of sorts right now. Rising producer Jesse Slayter gives the future soul track a decadent re-working that takes Palm Reader into hyper energy, unmercifully frenzied trap territory. Get ready for a huge dose of jolting sonic caffeine! Buy the epic remix on iTunes.

It’s funny, I was just wondering this week what Wave Racer has been up to, and here we are, with some brand new effervescent Wave Racer. Except in this case, we get to see what happens when Wave Racer teams up with Lido, too! Apparently, a World Record is what happens. It’s Norwegian Australian bubbly future bass, chill trap, and Jersey club when these two well respected producers combine forces. World Record is the first brain jiggling taste from an upcoming Wave Racer EP, Flash Drive, out October 16th on Future Classic.

Bear Mountain revealed new single Hopeful and a handful of remixes the other day, and I seem to be steadily sharing each of those tracks on IHM, because they’re all so good. Following on the heels of the bright indie pop original and a dizzying remix by Swim Good last week comes a deliciously bouncy remix by Philadelphia’s Moon Bounce. It’s a hypnotic house rendition of Hopeful with a more urgently pulsing pace and a rushing dash of vibrant summery techno agility. Bear Mountain’s original is available now on iTunes.

New York based London native Micky Blue is about to steal your heart again with her powerful pop music and her incredible voice. She teams up with producer Mickey Valen once again on Wild Things, a combination that has proven endlessly compelling in the past. It’s dark electropop magnificence on slow burning Wild Things, which blazes with desperate passion and scalding despair. Wild Things’ representation of inner struggles and fears are fully engaging, delivered with genuine confidence and unimpeded boldness by Micky Blue. Micky Blue’s latest anthem is a free download, here.

I really am not familiar with very many Colombian musicians, but that seems to be changing lately, considering my love of Brooklyn based Tei Shi and my elated discovery of this new act named Lao Ra. I suppose Colombian chanteuses all have enchantingly unique names? Lao Ra arrives with a magical debut named Jesus Made Me Bad, an ethereal, jaunty pop song infused with crisp Caribbean steel drums, celestial synths, and a mirage like shimmery luster. Jesus Made Me Bad is a bewitchingly infectious and playfully gutsy first introduction to a glowing new act.
