Is it Saturday night yet?! The Glitch Mob teams up with Elohim on a sonic throbbing affirmation ‘I Could Be Anything’ and something tells me we’ll be hearing this song along with a bunch of new material off her soon-to-be released album which drops later this month! It’s been an amazing journey to watch her go from opening for LANY at the Rickshaw Stop in SF about 3 years ago, to touring with Alison Wonderland last year, to headlining her own tour this year, and performing at Coachella this week. Think I may have a Panic Attack from excitement!

Today, LANY released their self titled debut album. Like the good fan that I am, I pre-ordered the record on CD way ahead of time, so I have it sitting nice and pretty right here next to me, and I can’t wait to dive in for a sure to be melting album journey. Let’s celebrate the album by diving into its most recent single, Super Far. It’s quintessential LANY, a misty lovelorn, woolly heartrender of a synthpop gem. If you’ve yet to snag LANY’s album, you can do so, here.

There really is nothing like a moving new LANY song to tenderize the heart. I suddenly find myself in a very wistful mood as I sway to the gentle rhythm of 13. But heartbreak, when presented by this Los Angeles band, is pure bliss. Gentle guitar licks add to the misty allure of LANY’s melting new alt pop ballad. June 30th better come around soon, because I need LANY’s debut album. My heart needs it. My soul yearns for it. The self titled full length can be pre-ordered, here.

Even a breakup seems romantically sublime when LANY waxes synth florrid over its bitter pangs and poignant heartbreak. The Los Angeles synthpoppers are preparing to release their long awaited self-titled debut album on Interscope come June 30th, and The Breakup is just another divine taste of that record, which I’ve already gleefully pre-ordered. LANY is creamier and ooey gooey-er than ever on the melting ballad. The Breakup feels like a sun kissed dream despite its melancholia. The band recently announced a new 32 date North American headline tour this fall, details, here. Pre-order their album, here.

LANY’s latest swooning confection may be entitled It Was Love, but we all know that this IS love, and has been since we heard ILYSB more than two years ago. The trio from Los Angeles melts us with aching synthpop and leaves us ever excited for their debut album with this heavenly ode to unrequited love. Whenever I listen to LANY, I feel like I’ve been transported into one of my favorite 80′s romance films. LANY will release their self titled album on June 30th.

Andrew Luce’s latest remix has been a favorite of mine since it surfaced on Friday. I’ve treated my ears to its atmospheric billowing, fine speckled trap many times over since. The Los Angeles based production wizard has given everyone’s favorite LANY song, ILYSB, a breathtaking makeover. It surges regally while also mesmerizing with a motley array of intricate beats and rhythms. Andrew Luce reports that he’d been slaving away on the track for the past four months. He’s glad to finally get it out, as are we. Download his ILYSB remix for free, here.

Boy, oh boy, has it been a fabulous week in music. With all these sweet sonic gifts to bring with me into the weekend, I can’t help but wonder, is it because I’ve been a good girl this year? Ever swooning Los Angeles trio LANY might know the answer. After all, their new present for us today is named Good Girls. With it, they woo our hearts all over again. Good Girls is the sort of golden luscious, bittersweet stirring, 80′s inspired California synthpop that we’ve grown to expect from the dashing gentlemen.
