Addicted can’t be more true to its name, igniting a fiery obsession within me with its sassy grooving, synth bubbling R&B house. The song is the latest from Brooklyn four piece Body Language, who are quickly proving themselves one of the most exciting American electronic outfits of the moment. Addicted is funky soulful and deeply sensuous. It takes Disclosure and AlunaGeorge and drops them back in the 80′s. We gleefully hitch a ride. The sumptuous tune comes as the first single from Body Language’s forthcoming full length release, Mythos, out November 4th on Om Records.

Brand new Rudimental is always just cause for festive celebration for this long time fan of the UK collective who have introduced us to so many incredibly talented artists over the years… guests who went on to launch successful careers of their own. New track Healing features funky soulful vocals by J Angel. It’s a deep house and garage jam that strays from the drum and bass of older Rudimental. A wiggling bassline and some classic beats makes Healing more akin to Disclosure. Your booty will be wiggling along in no time. Purchase this sumptuous groover from various outlets, here.

It’s been far too long since we last heard from British producer Danglo, but he’s finally back with an infusion of effervescent, summery electronica to brighten up our day on new song Complete, featuring dazzling vocals by Ivan Franco. Let’s go tropically Balearic alongside Danglo and Ivan Franco as the two team up to send rays of amorously uplifting joy through the center of our beings. Complete is completely enamoring, its soulful house and cool weightlessness a glowing treat off an EP of the same name out on Kitsune. Grab it on iTunes.

The ever great Disclosure has revealed a new banger off their upcoming album Caracal, easily one of the most anticipated albums of the year and a stand out on a long list of huge album releases come September 25th. The duo unleash Jaded via a music video that seems to continue the sci fi story they’d begun in prior videos. The video even features Sam Smith for a brief moment. Jaded itself is one of the smoothest tunes we’ve heard off Caracal so far, with ethereally swelling synths and a more muted bassline. This one should please the many Latch fans out there.

Swiss producer EDX’s latest has been going crazy strong ever since its big reveal. It’s no wonder, considering Belong’s deep progressive hooks and satin smooth vocals. Belong is a track with elements that truly belong together… its trickling piano, airy buoyancy, swooning sentiment, and deep house energy fit together like pieces of a perfect dance puzzle. The more you listen to Belong, the more it takes a deeper root in your soul and the more addicting it becomes. Belong is out now on Spinnin’.

It’s been but a week since I first encountered music by Sweden’s Sapele, who wooed me easily with deep house and R&B jam Looking At You. Now, the producer has released his four track EP, The Day, on Dirty Soul Music, and with it, he proves even further that he has a masterful grasp of combining the moving organic with the soulful electronic. EP track Testify is a deeply pumping, infectiously melodic, and lusciously intoxicating future imbued deep house jam with honeyed R&B vocals. Stream the rest of The Day EP or order it, here.

Much gratitude and love to Mister Miau for shooting over this amazing song earlier this afternoon. Oddly enough, it took a friend from far away with exquisite music taste to introduce me to an amazing new act from right here at home in San Francisco. Give It Up is a colossal collaboration between San Francisco’s CRUELS and ever bewitching UK chanteuse Salt Ashes. Together, they present us with an uptempo, soulful house jam that sparkles and twinkles with endless ethereal beauty. CRUELS’ Balearic production reverberates and bounces regally, while Give It Up’s lustrously ripe melody is fully enticing and hooking. Ultimately, I’m left feverishly pressing the play button again and again, while curiously wondering who this CRUELS is, and where he hides in our great city.

The almighty fellows from Disclosure unleashed one of their magnificent new singles today via a music video. Willing & Able, of course, is a sensational new reveal from their highly anticipated sophomore album Caracal. It also features the velvety smooth vocals of British electro soul crooner Kwabs, a mighty treat indeed paired with Disclosure’s house production. I’m also extremely glad to see that Kwabs will get even more attention than he ever has before with this release, as IHM has been quite the fan of the guy’s music for some time now. Kwabs has now collaborated with both SOHN and Disclosure. Pretty legendary, if you ask me. I don’t know about you, but I’m going insane waiting for Disclosure’s Caracal, out September 25th on PMR / ISland.

Distant cousin duo POSTÅAL hail from both France and England, and they certainly bring some of their contrasting roots on their sensational debut, Freedom, for which they’ve released a music video today. Freedom is an undeniably liberating and compelling electronic song, a soulful house song with hints of Disclosure and Rudimental flowing through its veins. The debut leaves me much excited to hear more from the new act, who will be touring for the rest of summer with France’s The Shoes.

For some deep, soulful vibes, check out this new remix by Australian production duo Sleep Sound. Who did they choose to remix? None other than one of my favorite electronic artists ever, Caribou, aka Dan Snaith, aka Daphni, aka Manitoba. Our Love is one of the couple of new tunes Caribou has unveiled off his forthcoming sophomore album (under that moniker) recently, and Sleep Sound re-imagines the intricate song, giving it a more laid back and downtempo atmosphere, but it also retains some of the tropical vibes that Caribou tends to infuse his tracks with. This Our Love remix is deeply hypnotizing and relaxingly lush. It gives me the feeling of deep sea diving in beautiful, crystal clear blue waters. Someone soundtrack a diving video with this remix!
