Crisp piano stabs and high voltage beats inspire us to get up and dance our Thursday night away on vivacious For Real, a track out now on Spinnin’ from producers Goshfather and Zookëper. Thrills and exhilaration abound as the pair come together to douse us with future disco house and some classic house vibes on the contagiously bounding, sky-high leaping dance extravaganza. We haven’t heard much from French production duo Basic Tape much of the year, and I’d be lying if I didn’t confess how often I’ve wondered what the pair have been up to. Turns out, they’ve been preparing some “cool” funky vibes for us, with creamy South Londoner crooner HUNTAR in tow! Jam out to infectious piano house banger Cool, an upbeat and invigorating, chic and suave club meets pop track that’s anything but “basic”. Hopefully, Cool is a sign of a new string of fine tunes to come from the Parisian duo. Stream Cool via alternate major outlets, here.

I was absolutely stoked when Duke Dumont partnered up with Gorgon City a few weeks ago to drop smash summer hit Real Life. Not only is that a conjoining of massive dance music talent, but this slice of Balearic sunset dance euphoria also features rising Australian duo NAATIONS, whom we’ve been supporting big time since they made their debut nearly a year ago (and we can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled we are that they’re making their SF debut at Popscene in October alongside Terror Jr on my birthday weekend). A handful of phenomenal remixes of Real Life just dropped a few days ago, amongst which comes this remix by Dillon Francis. The edit starts off like a classic house track, and you can’t help but wonder, has Dillon Francis toned down his high voltage sound? Don’t worry, soon enough, Dillon Francis jacks up the energy on the song and gets dirty. This Real Life starts jabbing and whizzing, stabbing and quaking with resolute strength, all the while still staying chic and stylish despite the new griminess. The new official remixes that have surfaced for Real Life also include edits by Kilter, Murdock, and Terrace Dub. Stay tuned and you just might find us sharing more of these tracks. For now, you can do some discovering on your own and stream them on Duke Dumont’s Soundcloud, here.

We’ve been following along with German producer SAINT WKND since he was named WKND, and we’re thrilled to share a new original named Make You Mine featuring creamy smooth cooing by Boy Matthews. Make You Mine is a fine follow up to earlier this year’s Hoodlem featuring hit, Golden. Its chords are sprightly and vivacious, youthful and spry. Make You Mine is a sweetly lifting banger that we’ll be taking with us deep into the summer months. Island-y Jamie xx and buoyant Clean Bandit come together for a generous drenching of future vibes on SAINT WKND’s dance floor filler. Make You Mine is our second taste from SAINT WKND’s debut EP Golden Youth.

Phoebe Ryan’s long awaited new single Dark Side, an ever sweetly enchanting & breathy enthralling pop gem, has been on the receiving end of some terrific remixing performances in the month it’s been out. The latest ravishing edit comes by way of Virginia based electronic duo New Immunity.

It’s been long apparent New Immunity has an adept knack for layering on plenty of their own instrumentals to create exuberant dance tracks that feel enlivening and organic.

They brighten our day with this cool glistening, sleek bounding house remix on which the pair opt for some piano house vibes for their drop rather than New Immunity’s usual guitar. The result is bouncy bright and honeyed lifting. You can download New Immunity’s remix of Phoebe Ryan’s Dark Side free, here.

Long time IHM local production favorite, San Francisco’s Slaptop, is slowly unveiling treats to build up to the release of his debut album, With You, on March 3rd. It’s obvious from what we’ve heard so far that With You is going to be a can’t miss versatile display of Slaptop’s dance inducing skills. On new preview Another Life, he entrances us with deep booming house then enchants us with melodic R&B pop courtesy of husky voiced siren, Geneva White. Slaptop has always walked a fine line between musical genres with his electronic concoctions. Another Life is no different. It’s both a throwback to the 90′s and a future styled piano house anthem. Re-visit Slaptop’s prior songs revealed from his forthcoming album by heading over to Soundcloud, here.

It’s a French affair as Parisian production geniuses Androma and Kulkid partner up for the very first time to deliver make our bodies move. Make My Body Move makes me wonder why we don’t have requisite morning dance parties every Tuesday. Frisky piano chords join a deep bounce for a classic soulful house affair. Make My Body Move is sweet infectious elixir to my ears. It’ll easily lift your spirits and invigorate you, too. Make My Body Move is out now on Homerun House. Grab your copy of the track from major services, here.

You don’t know how excruciating it is to have previewed a wicked track and not be able to share it for what feels like an eternity. A weight lifts off my shoulders today as I’m finally able to welcome you into the thrilling radiance of this Young Bombs remix of NYC starlet EVVY’s electropop song, Tidal Wave. The producers from Vancouver give us cool rippling synths and vibrant prancing chords on their soaring remix. The deep future house on Young Bombs’ Tidal Wave is breezy and light. It illuminates us in an incandescent glow, imbuing us with hope and joy. Download Young Bombs’ remix of EVVY’s Tidal Wave, here.

It’s an epic vibing house aria that Toronto’s Exit Friendzone and Two Friends presents us with on their new original collaboration, Overdose, which features spectacularly soulful, passionately riveting vocals by Natalola. Overdose is as much as an adrenaline rush as it is a heart rending dance track, a mightily infectious ode to how powerful and dangerous it could be to fall for someone obsessively. It’s almost ironic that a song about the pitfalls of burning infatuation comes by way of two talented production acts named Exit Friendzone and Two Friends. Snag this high soaring, vigorous gripping anthem from various outlets, here.

Prepare to boogie to some luscious beats as Los Angeles’ Christofi drops the heat with Temptation, a deep classy piano house and summery nu-disco banger that features satin chic crooning by Brooklyn’s AYER. There’s no fighting this temptation as the producer smoothly hooks us in and urges every cell and electron in our bodies to move and fire euphorically in sync to his sizzling hot jam. The lush springing, soulful stirring song is a free download, here.
