Everyday, a countless amount of great electronic tracks emerge from the production woodwork, many of them much pleasing sonic marvels. As it’s an impossible feat to share, or even listen, to all of these great tunes, I have to try and look out for the more unique tracks, the ones that stand out and require repeat listens. This new remix of Flume’s Never Be Like You, featuring Kai, certainly fits the billing. NYC based duo Teengirl Fantasy creates a mesmerizing experience on their jagged and notched remix, its dissonance and unpredictable twists and turns a welcome change of pace. Some might consider this quirky remix a bit hard to stomach on first listen, but give it an open mind and welcoming ear, and it’ll take you on a bizarre and inebriating journey sure to jostle your senses and jog your mind. I, for one, am a huge fan. Teengirl Fantasy’s inventive remix is part of the Never Be Like You remix EP, available from iTunes.

San Francisco’s own T-Mass links up with mysterious Ellusive on a jaw dropping remix of Calvin Harris and Disciples colossal hit How Deep Is Your Love, taking me to new highs on this lovely Wednesday night. Chill trap oscillations and regal future bass make this a monster of a tune. This love is deeper than the ocean, shaking the very earth to its molten core. Download the remix for free, here.

I feel more alive than ever tonight, thanks to a remix of Sia’s Alive by enigmatic new production act Wild Coyote. This debut track is a gorgeously soaring progressive house smash, its vibrant energy adding to the empowering affect of Sia Furler’s uplifting pop hit. Wild Coyote takes some cues from Avicii and Martin Garrix on his (her? their?) feel good remix, one that has me ready to rocket through the roof in euphoria. Wild Coyote’s first remix is a free download, here.

It’s been too many moons since we last heard from London’s Cardboard Foxes, but I’m happy to announce that the duo have made a return on weightlessly springing, exquisitely sparkling new song Freefall, featuring soulful vocals by British chanteuse Raphaella. Los Angeles’ Falcons and Canada’s Ekali join forces to present us with a new original named I Won’t Lie, a somberly heaving trap ballad featuring vocals by emerging Australian talent Vanessa Elisha. This international union concocts a steamy scorcher of a finely textured, dynamic opus. The blaring intense number and Vanessa Elisha’s ravishing vocals are a sure shot for any hearts that also adore music by What So Not and Flume, namely, my own. Netherlands based, Iranian born dark siren Sevdaliza was at the top of my list of acts to catch at SXSW a couple weeks ago, so I made it a priority to make my way out to one of the buzzing singer songwriter and producer’s many performances in Austin. Sure enough, Sevdaliza did not disappoint, sensually writhing and hauntingly cooing on stage. It was obvious that the whole of the crowd was utterly transfixed by her dark and seductive electronic R&B/pop. I found myself instantaneously looking forward to the next time I get to see Sevdaliza perform, hopefully right here in San Francisco. Lest you forgot how magnificent her FKA Twigs and Ibeyi evoking music can be, let’s watch the mysterious new music video for her song Marilyn Monroe. The song itself is both fragile and consuming, provocative and honest. Its video represents a struggle with Sevdaliza’s future self in finding spiritual truth through computed experiences. Marilyn Monroe is part of Sevdaliza’s stunning Children Of Silk EP, available from iTunes.

Brooklyn’s Violet Sands is an indie supergroup of epic proportions, its ranks made up of members (or ex-members) of other IHM adored bands like Savoir Adore, French Horn Rebellion, and Love Like Deloreans. After scintillating me with their electropop sound on No Matter What, I’ve kept them on my radar as one to keep a close watch on. Violet Sands now returns with a magnificent gem named Coming Back, a combination of soothing dream pop ambiance and riveting glitch hop ruffles. Coming Back is like an intoxicating sea of bliss, its consistency much like a union of Phantogram, Cocteau Twins, and Yumi Zouma. Violet Sands will be releasing their Strange Attractor EP on May 6th via Ensemble Records.

Home is Saul Sweet’s debut original, his first single after unleashing some terrific remixes in the past. The Australian producer and musician proves himself quite the vocalist and songwriter on the saccharine hued, crisply sparkling electronic ballad. I find myself pining for a home of the long gone past after listening to the wistful and dreamy beauty, its luxuriant beats and soothing vocals riding a gently cresting chill house wave that swells with sigh inducing yearning. Home will be available soon on iTunes.

Southern California’s Bryce Fox sure made an indelible mark on many of us with his debut single, Burn Fast, a soulful pop song exuding endless earnest charisma. The song was such a hit that a stream of fantastic remixes of Burn Fast have been surfacing endlessly these past weeks. So, how do you follow up on such a stunning first single? Bryce Fox answers that question with Horns, a roiling, stormy alt rock spectacular that sees the artist climbing massive sonic peaks reminiscent of X Ambassadors mixed with some Jack White and Lewis Del Mar. Bryce Fox offers up the same intriguing fusion of muddy rock and soulful pop on ferociously pounding Horns that first piqued my interest on his debut single. It’s clear the artist is here to make a huge statement with this second single, one that robustly displays his creative sound. Horns will be on Bryce Fox’s debut EP.

Polish alt pop artist Brodka released a magnificent music video for her bewitching English language debut single Horses, which offers us the perfect opportunity to share the mystical beauty. Horses’ ethereal free spirit and dark folk imbued earthiness certainly match its equine title. I’ve always found horses to be majestic, magical creatures, and the aura on Brodka’s single easily matches that sentiment. It’s futuristic music video is grandly fantastical and spellbinding, too. It’s no wonder Brodka is a massive star back home in Poland. Horses will be on Brodka’s new album, Clashes, out May 13th and available for pre-ordering from iTunes.
