I was about to toss on the a sensational debut from a new German outfit named COSBY when I realized a video has been out and about for the song. And it’s already been viewed over 100,000 times!  I guess I’m not the only person who’s fallen hard for the Munich quartet’s propulsive and grandiose synthpop on Get Up. The pulsating jam carries just the right amount of sleek funky, breathy seductive disco swagger, too. You can find the sweeping debut on iTunes, here.

Dutch producer R3hab and international star Ciara team up deliver smashing electronic jam, Get Up. The massive track, out now on Spinnin’, is an irresistibly high energy dance track with glowing tropical currents. This one’s ready to attack both radio and fests, a behemoth of an overwhelming power banger. The unveiling of Get Up has been long awaited after the two acts performed together at Coachella last year, teasing at this collaborative effort. With another Coachella just around the bend, it’s finally here. Purchase Get Up at major outlets, here.

Swedish indie poppers Last Lynx released their Rifts EP on SoFo Records earlier this year, and we’ve heard some terrific tunes off it so far, including Lacuna, Curtains, and Brother. Get Up is a new one off the EP, and the five piece take a more hazy, lo-fi tinged approach on the warm, languid Scandipop treat. It’s quite the dreamy affair, perhaps their dreamiest yet.

OFFICIAL VID: Willy Moon – Get Up (What You Need)

Stylish New Zealand rocker Willy Moon has a new single off his debut album Here’s Willy Moon. Watch the brand new video for that track below. Get Up (What You Need) is one of his less swaggering tracks, but I really love the beautiful strings on this one. Add in the gospel moments, and we’ve got a classy sounding song. It still retains his vintage, rambunctious sound, but it’s far more soulful. This may be my favorite Willy Moon track.

korn and skrillex

So it’s been officially announced that Korn’s next album is a dubstep album. Does it surprise me? NOT at all! I saw it coming with the Skrillex collaboration titled Get Up awhile back. And I’ve been saying it for awhile that harder rock and dubstep need to make a wild child together cuz it works really well (some of my friends lurking on here heard it from me previously, right?). According to NME, the album is going to include work with producers such as Noisia, Datsik, 12th Planet, Excision, and Kill The Noise. Wooooo. I think I’m excited about this. Yes, I am. For those that are surprised…. don’t be worried, it’s still going to be very much Korn, but add in some maaaaaaad wobbles. It’ll be good, trust me. Well, if it’s anything like Get Up… hopefully it will be. If you haven’t heard Get Up, take a listen… if it’s too hard for you, too bad. 😉 It’s Korn. And Skrillex. What do ya expect? Huh? Haha.
