Many a Cut Copy aficionado are celebrating the release of Cut Copy’s long awaited new album Haiku From Zero. Of course, there’s no better way to celebrate anything than a glorious dance party. German producer Ferdinand Weber has offered up an absolutely divine remix of Cut Copy’s Standing In The Middle Of The Field to keep us rejoicing through the night. You might end up watching the sun come up to this deep hypnotic, gloriously pumping dance remix. Meditative meadows, laced with ambient synths, are met by exhilarating palisades in the “middle of this field”. You can order Cut Copy’s new album, here.

Parisian producer Khamsin, who’s also a member of French electronic supergroup Slow Hours besides the likes of Kultur, Kidswaste, and more, serves up his re-imagining of ZHU anthem Hometown Girl for his latest track. ZHU has never felt lighter on its feet. Khamsin’s remix is a melodic hopping, luminous lifting new approach on ZHU’s usually dark and guttural sound. Sure, Hometown Girl is already uniquely soft and misty for ZHU, but the original still feels somewhat pensive and introspective. Khamsin’s remix gives Hometown Girl a sanguine glow and an irresistible bounce. Jaymes Young’s velveteen cooing shines even brighter on Khamsin’s re-work, which is a free download, here.

Time and time again, Whethan and Oliver Tree prove to be like peanut butter to jelly, or ham to a sandwich, or burger to fries, when it comes to their music together. The Windy City producer and Los Angeles singer songwriter have given us a myriad of infectious and frisky bangers, which they’ now follow up by reuniting on new genre defying collaboration, Enemy. Whizzing synths, peppery keys, a punchy cadence, and larkish beats endow this signature Whethan and Oliver Tree offering. Enemy nearly feels like dance foray involving twenty one pilots and K.flay with its alt flavored charm and jaunty vibrancy. Download Enemy, here.

I know this one’s been hopping around on everyone’s prized playlists for awhile now, but we simply can’t let such a superb Jerry Folk remix slide. The Norwegian virtuoso has given fellow countrymen Lemaitre a regal future trap lift on his remix of Higher, featuring candied vocalist Maty Noyes. Despite its lofty lurches and rich swells, Jerry Folk’s Higher reaches its high with an astounding smoothness and with much stylish pizzazz through its abundant trickling of future funk. His official remix is out on iTunes, here.

Two worlds I absolutely adore collide head on, on Waterfall, our first taste of young French production prodigy Petit Biscuit’s debut album, Presence. Waterfall features Australian synthpop and electronic project Panama on breezy light, slick dashing vocals. I never thought I’d live to see the day when Petit Biscuit and Panama came together on a song, but it’s happened, and it’s heavenly. Waterfalls’ ethereal percolating, balmy weightless future beats take on a new dimension of sound as Panama’s pop vocals give the track an indie feel. All that’s left to do is dance, dance, dance to this blissed out beauty, with feet that never felt lighter and a cool easy prance. Petit Biscuit’s debut album Presence arrives on November 10th. Expect it to make a lasting impression. Stream/purchase Waterfall, here.

Last week, Denver based electronica authority ILLENIUM released his highly anticipated album Awake, and it proved itself to be a sensational collection of electronic songs, many of them featuring fine guest talent we adore. We have many favorites on the release, including ILLENIUM’s collaboration with his good friend Said The Sky. Another cut off the album we can’t help but surrender ourselves to time and time again is Let You Go, which features Swedish trio Ember Island. The gently billowing, halcyon gliding melodic bass and chill electronic aria is nothing short of breathtaking. It holds us close with its lush strings and effervescent ripples, warming our hearts with a tender beauty. Awake can be streamed and downloaded, here.

Clips x Ahoy sure sounds like an electronic project that would sling some tasty tunes, particularly since I sort of grew up loving Chips Ahoy cookies. Sure enough, the electronic act has teamed up with fellow Miami based producer EGZOD on a majestic trap anthem named Everything, and it’s got everything that you need for an epic thrilling night. The track features KLA on sizzling vocals and copious amounts of heavy hitting bass. So throw your trap hands up and lose it to the vociferous and vehement adrenaline pumping anthem. EDEN’s welcome cameo on ILLENIUM’s Leaving the other day served as a powerful reminder of how much we missed the Irish singer songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer who’s been crushing our hearts and leaving us reeling with his emotive music since his days as THE EDEN PROJECT. So when new song “start//end” surfaced today, we couldn’t be more content. 21 year old talent Jonathan Ng sweeps us straight off our feet again with his emotionally charged, poignantly quivering voice, as well as his cinematic sweeping, panoramic soaring electronica & hip hop. Expertly sewing together strings, beats, and synths, EDEN creates a tapestry of sound to take us on a soul searching journey with his spectacular song. “start//end” is one of his most ornate compositions, with hauntingly discordant tones and fluttering layers of fine elements. Its intricacy can be traced to the collage-like method with which EDEN assembled the song. He fused together fragments he’d collected on tour. The song comes with a video which Ng directed, filmed, and edited himself after shooting across London, Tokyo, Seoul, Los Angeles, New York, Belgium, and around his home in Dublin. When it comes to what some call “post-EDM”, there’s few who can rival EDEN’s talent, except of course, Lido. “start//end” is available, here.

Dark seductive, grandious marching trap comes our way to bring us up on Come Down, a riveting and spine tingling anthem from Australian producer TWERLS and Vancouver’s Tails. Their dirty bass, twisting synths, and dramatic drops are worthy of a slot next to What So Not and Flume, especially the later Flume that gave us Skin. British siren Y.A.S. turns in smoldering vocals on this electrifying anthem. If it’s a jolting dose of vigorous energy you need, TWERLS and Tails’ new track is the perfect cinematic solution. Download Come Down for free, here.
