Perhaps you’ve been jamming out to this snazzy tune for the past two weeks, as we have. If you haven’t, prepare for some funky disco and brassy swagger as Brooklyn’s French Horn Rebellion unites with UK trio Patawawa for a cross-Atlantic soiree on breezy wagging, island jangly Mr. Romantic. Summer comes early as we dance to the agile beats, playful flares, and plucky riffs of this light-hearted and carefree groover. The two projects are heading out on tour together later this month in the UK, with dates in Sheffield, London, and Manchester. Find out more, here.

Late last year, mysterious new production talent Snugs made his debut with an ear turning, feet moving future bass ditty named Radio Silence, featuring honey-dipped vocals by HAILZ. It was a song that made waves in the electronic scene, racking up well over a million streams via Proximity’s label. Now, Snugs is back with warm synths, playful arpeggios, and punchy beats on another resplendent tune named Flooded, and this time around, he’s brought LA based pop singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Axel Mansoor in tow on buttery vocals. Flooded is a flood of future funky ecstasy, a flashy sleek, swanky hot banger appropriate for some snug dancing with that crush you’re so sweet on. Flight Facilities meets Duke Dumont on the sizzling tune. Stream/purchase this ace second offering from Snugs, here.

Though it will forever be hard to top the vivacious funk and pop found on Capital Cities’ pervasive hit Safe and Sound, the Southern California indie outfit sure served up some wonky swaggering, glamorous whirling fun on excellent single Vowels last year. Montreal production whiz Robotaki takes us back to its high spirited world with a hot new electro remix. He infuses it with extra plump synths and juicy luscious French house hops. Robotaki says that Vowels was one of his favorite records this past summer. Hotel Garuda introduced him to the song, and he’s been hooked ever since. New original from Robotaki is on its way. For now, let’s celebrate by downloading his Capital Cities remix, here.

Talk About’s wonky pop vivacity is the perfect summer treat that leaves us ready to strut with aplomb down a beach as the sun sets. The perky grooving, whimsically charming funk pop and indie dance jam comes from Austin duo CAPYAC, who’ve also just shared a music video for the cheeky, flirty gem. A copious dose of frisky future funk dresses up this suave tune. Talk About is a taste from CAPYAC’s debut full length, which you can support on Kickstarter, here. There’s no doubt CAPYAC’s got style. Excuse me as I throw on my coolest looking shades and feel stylish for a few brief minutes to this swaggering tune, too.

It’s a sultry swaggering good time as Toronto’s Beta Frontiers slinks his way through to our hearts with a sleek sexy collaboration with Vancouer’s HUMANS. Still Love’s soulful pumping electronica is just the luxuriant confection I’m craving for as we prepare for a music and dance filled weekend. An assured confidence exudes from this pop funk meets thumping house jam, the second single from Beta Frontiers’ new EP, Heights, due out May 5th on Buzz Records. Pre-order the EP, here.

Loyal indeed have I become to this UK collective, who’s consistently given us knock out songs for the past year. Premiered the other day by Mistajam on BBC Radio 1 is this new LOYAL jam, Tower Over All. They inundate us with slinky heat and move our souls with a funky groove with their sprawling track. Light and dark dance circles around one another on the shady shifting, lush whirling dazzler. We dance and we swoon to the creamy, buttery vocals that glide ever so effortlessly through Tower Over All’s luxuriant soundscape, so richly permeated with feisty keys and torrid guitar licks. Tower Over All is out now on IAMSOUND. You can also stream via Soundcloud below.

We’re diving into a fresh new jam named The One 2, and no, this isn’t a sonic sequel to that not so good Jet Li film entitled The One from over a decade ago. Instead, it’s the latest from long time dance punk purveyors !!! (chk chk chk)! The Sacramento band just announced their next album Shake The Shudder, on which they go the guest talent route by featuring a cast of changing singers including Lea Lea, Meah Pace, Nicole Fayu, Cameron Mesirow, and Molly Schnick. It’s a method that we’ve encountered plenty of times on electronic records, and judging by how groovalicious good and decadent sumptuous The One 2 is, it’s going to be a success for !!!, too. The band goes unexpectedly 90′s jungle and funky house on the new single, giving us a sound more Disclosure and Bondax like than the old !!! we’re familiar with, with a touch of Portugal. The Man’s recent sound, too. The One 2 even comes with a glamorous dance video. New album Shake The Shudder is due to arrive May 19th via Warp Records. I’m more than curious to hear the rest of its songs. Pre-order, here.

I’d like to call this election business a whole lot of marlarkey, but sadly, what happened is set in stone. At least I can dance away my sorrows to English producer Malarkey’s new tune, Arcade Brain. Prismatic synths and a bubbly stride make this future funky ditty an invigorating party in my ears. Nu-disco meets bright eyed pinball vibrancy on this song. I find myself suddenly wondering why I’ve never been to a club with both a dance floor and an arcade, like on that fabulous episode of Black Mirror, San Junipero. Combine that with Malarkey’s Arcade Brain, and we have perfection. Arcade Brain is a limited download now on Toneden.

Raf Rundell is one half of British electronic duo The 2 Bears alongside Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard. Raf has also taken it upon himself to launch a full blown solo career under the project name Selfie Boy. On December 9th, he’ll be releasing a debut EP named The Adventures of Selfie Boy Part 1, from which comes this soulful lifting, melodic lilting, disco luxuriant deep house anthem named Right Time. To think I may have missed out on this ravishing song if I hadn’t encountered the new music video that arose over the weekend for Right Time. The horror! Right Time’s video, which you can view below, is an amusing watch. Sometimes, elderly dancers have the best moves and the most confidence. They slay the dance floor to Right Time’s lavish pumping beats. Pre-order The Adventures of Selfie Boy Pt.1 from iTunes.

It’s a funky jouncing sort of soulful spunky pleasure that moves us on the latest original from Chicago’s GOLDHOUSE. The producer teamed up with dreamy LA crooner Lostboycrow on his last track, but he now links up with sultry voiced songbird Alexx Mack to spin us around with some frisky fun dance pop and electro. Pleasure is a steamy whirling, sky high bouncing banger brimming with swagger strutting charisma. The flashy jam is out on all digital outlets.
