So I thought I was done for the night and would continue on my behemoth list of songs to feature tomorrow morning. That is, until Flight Facilities dropped their brand new song. Behold, All Your Love, which features Sydney’s Dustin Tebbutt on transcendental vocals. Not only am I (and most of my friends) ardent FF fans, but this song is phenomenal, so I had to hop back on for a prompt share. All Your Love is a drastic departure from Flight Facilities’ more disco grooving tracks of yore. Instead, it seems to lean towards a deep luscious, ambient pumping organic house tone reminiscent of RÜFÜS DU SOL or Elderbrook, both of whom I’m also huge fans of, so I’m a happy camper right now whilst I’m already on my fifth or sixth listen of All Your Love. Australian electronic duo Flight Facilities are in the midst of their Return Flight tour and now they’ve followed it up with this brilliant song. It’s turning into one fine 2018 for FF fans like me. All Your Love is a meditative and expansive song simultaneously intimate soothing and atmospheric sprawling. It wraps us up in its shimmering beats, comforting us and dispersing a calm tranquility from within its ever evolving fluidity. It’s been a moment since we’ve visited with our favorite dance pachyderm from LA, but now that Elephante has released a terrific preview of his upcoming 9 track EP, it’s high time we delved straight back into the versatile artist’s vibrant music. Glass Mansion: Prologue features four tastes from the forthcoming project, which drops on June 15th. It’s a guest talent studded affair, as all four tracks he’s unveiled feature magnificent vocal cameos. For now, let’s turn our attention to Have It All, featuring ever pervasive chanteuse Nevve. Elephante presents us with an emotive stirring, lithesome skipping pop meets dance song with crisp affecting melodies and metallic thrumming synths. Australia’s Night Tales first dazzled us late last year with their debut single Move You, a deep pumping, dark sweltering electronic ode to unrequited love. The duo, formed by producer Third Floor and singer songwriter Kamaliza (previously of Olympic Ayres), return with an ace new jam named Want, which we can’t stop wanting more of after grooving to our hearts content to the song’s balmy sunset house and silky crooning by guest vocalist fellow Australian songstress Kimono. We’ve never “dropped out” of loving versatile Santa Barbara trio Dropout, and we don’t foresee that ever happening, particularly if the group continues surprising us with their sonic forte and chameleon skills with songs like their recent collaboration with Los Angeles songbird Anna Clendening. Dropout has taken us on quite a trip with the different types of dance and electronic tracks they’ve given us. With U n Me, they offer a chill house meets summery pop amalgam that leaves us more than content and blissed out. Summer isn’t officially here yet, but it might as well be. We ascend to cloud nine as two of our all time favorite electronic acts, Seattle’s ODESZA and Australia’s Flight Facilities, come together on a track off ODESZA’s new Higher Ground remix pack. I’ll let that sink in for a moment… this is two juggernaut production forces with completely different artistic styles. That’s right, Flight Facilities has given Higher Ground, one of the most beautiful arias off ODESZA’s beloved album A Moment Apart, a lush, halcyon house edit!
