You know when you’re so excited over something that there’s a tension balled up at the pit your stomach? Your palms start to get sweaty, and you feel like you’re about to burst from anxiety and break out of your own skin. Now, you can channel all that jittery stress into this restless spectacular from Jersey producer Chuck Sutton. Anxious is a brilliant track that spirals, flitters, fidgets, and skips. For all its bustling elements and meticulous detail, this finespun electronic opus is an entrancing and orderly listen. Anxious mesmerizes and hypnotizes with its other worldly dreamscape, all the while capturing anxiety’s butterflies and nerves effect to perfection. Chuck Sutton sends gentle shockwaves through our bodies with each wired surge of the track. It feels like a treatment, or a salve, that saves us from internalizing all those feelings and emotions that leave us feeling like we’re on the edge of a precipice. And it’s a phenomenal chill trap and future beats composition, too. Stream/purchase Anxious, here.

It’s gifted girl power to the max as Australian producer Alison Wonderland takes on Dua Lipa’s hit single New Rules off her eponymous album for an official remix. They take us on a mellifluous stroll that builds in heated intensity towards the sort of gritty jarring, regal blaring drop that only Alison Wonderland can so perfectly and adroitly construct. Her New Rules remix is thunderous and grand, electrifying and dramatic. If Christopher Nolan made an Inception sequel, I highly suggest he utilize some Alison Wonderland in the most gripping moments of the film, like when buildings start flying into the sky, or streets flip upside down. Stream and download this epic remix, here. Catch Alison Wonderland on tour this fall, when she’ll be bringing her exhilarating music to the Fox Theater in Oakland on October 14th with Elohim in support.

Mystery and intrigue abounds as a new producer from Melbourne captures both our imagination and our nostalgia ridden hearts with his music. Appropriately named Kloake, this cloaked instigator of feels and thrills makes electronic music rooted in the analog days of the 80′s and 90′s. Synthcore, techno, electro house, and modern day electronica are interwoven together dexterously and smoothly. Though Kloake’s latest original, Bridges, featuring Nez Erok, leans hard into future bass territory, you can still detect a copious amount of throwback elements in the sleek oscillating, beautifully exquisite anthem. For more of a retrowave adventure, stream Kloake’s Honour below, which was the producer’s debut release earlier this month. It broods darkly and pulses magnificently, an adrenaline pumping electro-techno extravaganza that evokes Boys Noise, Gesaffelstein, and classic French house (ie. Daft Punk, Justice) all at once. Another can’t miss track from Kloake is his remix a year ago of Dj Falcon & Thomas Bangalter’s Together, plump with electro house and acid techno vibes. Whoever Kloake is, we’re big new fans, and we’re hoping he drops more tracks soon.

We’re kicking off another music filled day with some homegrown talent as San Francisco producer T-Mass and his buddy Maori take us on an epic and dramatic journey with their collaboration, Find Me, featuring California chanteuse Aviella Winder on guest vocals. Find Me is a resolute marching, vast sprawling, windswept and mountainous anthem. Its super charged melodic bass and cinematic dubstep take us clear across the earth, as if in search for the meaning of life itself.  Find Me is a free download, here. Over half a year has passed since honeyed voiced R&B pop starlet Alina Baraz released Electric, but I’m still so caught up by the sensual simmering and luscious swooning electro R&B track featuring Texas sensation Khalid. The pair dropped a stellar remix pack for the song last Friday, featuring esteemed production artists and electro pop talent like R3hab, Tim Gunter, Marian Hill, and Hippie Sabotage. The Electric Remixes EP also features this shiver inducing, rich oscillating edit by Alaskan producer Electric Mantis. A touch of dissonance endows its synths, giving it a captivating effect, as if listening to the choppy driving, moody warbling track through the spaciousness of a swelling, twisting water. We’re caught up in its rippling tides and shuddering bass, and we gladly surrender for all eternity to its pulls, shoves, tugs, and thrusts. The remix EP for Alina Baraz’s Electric is available from iTunes, here.

Enigmatic producer ‘i dont do crowds’ hails from Florida, and he must have a penchant for his fellow Floridian musicians, because he’s transformed one of my favorite art rock and folktronica bands from the Sunshine State a beautiful chill electronic makeover on Somewhere In Between. Some of Jai Wolf’s panoramic future trap permeates the atmospheric and ambient, summery and surreal track. Somewhere In Between is prime for summer chilling and epic daydreaming. Nicole Miglis’ haunting vocals are embedded in a wondrous soundscape consisting of organic swelling future bass and ethereal chopping chill trap. The starry eyed track is a free download, here.

Yes, I know this is the second remix of Lorde’s Perfect Places that I’ve shared tonight, but there’s simply no way to ignore the perfection of Whethan’s take on the hit single, too. The Chicago wunderkind and electronic prodigy, arguably the hottest commodity right now in the dance music scene, gives us a brilliant revamp of the tune brimming with his signature frothy, airy, and brisk future trap. Playful pops, whimsical bubbles, and a whole lot of weightless bounce permeate the seesawing extravaganza. If you’ve never caught Ethan Snoreck live, make sure you do when he heads out on his expansive fall tour. Get ready to be mind blown. Find out more about the tour, here.

A whopping twelve track remix package dropped last week for Clean Bandit’s aptly titled Symphony, featuring Zara Larsson, and its chock full of thrilling edits by talented producers and electronic groups. NYC electronic mainstays Cash Cash contributed a breathtaking rendition of Symphony to the collection. Buckle in for spectacular builds and sensational drops on their progressive house and melodic house approach to the stringy lush dance extravaganza. This heavy hitter will keep you dancing all night long. You can check out the rest of the remix pack on Soundcloud, here

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t necessary for us to ‘spread love’ for Goldroom’s recent original Spread Love, considering how much of a warm breath of euphoric nu-disco sunshine and electropop joy it is. The song speaks for itself, but we zealously featured the treat anyway earlier this summer. German producer Jetique gave Spread Love an ebullient dance makeover on his springy new house remix, and it’s humanly impossible not to get up and dance your feet straight off to this vivacious banger. It’s dashing and sleek, classy and plump. And it’s a free download, here.

The word “fence” is so ambiguous. It could mean a barrier or the act of selling an item. Even as a barrier, it can be cryptic whether its meant to protect you, or keep you from greener pastures. It is clear, however, that there’s no protection possible and no fence strong enough that can keep your heart from melting to Josh Jacobson’s creamy crooning and emotive production on the Moving Castle co-founder’s gorgeous new future soul single, Fence. For all its aching desire and lovesick sentiment, Fence is also an opulent and vibrant dalliance. Fence is a ravishing preview off of Josh Jacobson’s debut EP, First Light, due out this September on his new label, Joshua Tree Records. Fence can also be streamed off Spotify, here.
