Perhaps you haven’t heard Folly Rae’s Sniper yet. Get ready for a wildly infectious bop as we dive into the mahogany voiced London artist’s Wes Anderson inspired video for the cheeky pop song. Folly Rae performs at a strange hotel in the California desert where staff vie for her affections by taking her on a string of dates. These visuals compliment the female empowerment anthem, which is out now on Black Butter Records. Sassy and sweet, snappy and frisky Sniper is available at Apple Music, here.

DEAD2ME wasn’t what I expected to hear from Robokid when I was first afforded a generous preview of the track earlier this month, but I soon found myself marveling over the Los Angeles producer’s versatile talent and the song’s gripping alt sound. We’re witness to an incredible paradigm shift as Robokid captivates us with a superbly catching tune whose pulsing cadence and gritty vocals evoke The Chainsmokers’ recent music, or twentyone pilots and Blink-182 gone electro. The producer explains:

in this song i was trying 2 capture my feelings when losing touch with friends whether or not it was by choice or beyond control..i hope it makes u feel some type of way.” It’s a rather poignant and familiar topic. Robokid creates an intimate sense of rapport as he takes us on a whirlwind ride with his dashing new alt electro track. Watch the lyric video for DEAD2ME below. The single is available on all major services, here.

Who’s excited for CHVRCHES new album? We only have a few days to go before Love Is Dead hits the shelves, and I can’t wait for my pre-order to arrive in the mail. Let’s celebrate with a stellar remix of the Scottish electropop outfit’s synth towering, kaleidoscopic whirling single Get Out, by none other than soy loving Vancouver electronic whiz tofû! He’s given the track a celestial dose of vibrant energy on his sweeping dance remix. It’s a profoundly lifting experience, a beautifully balanced synthrock and melodic bass edit that will leave us beaming for the rest of the day. The remix is a free download, here.

Historically, Bonnie and Clyde were notorious criminals, yet famed legends… but there’s another distinguished duo named BONNIE X CLYDE who’s well worthy of our obsession these days. The vocal bass duo continue to mesmerize and thrill us with their brand of cinematic future bass on The Unknown. Beautifully haunting vocals, reminiscent of early BROODS, Echos, and

XYLØ, pull us into an inky world full of exciting mystery and intrigue. BXC explain: “This track was inspired by the unknown. That feeling of being unsure about what’s coming, what’s next, what things will look like in the future & not being fully sure of what will happen. Through this song we encourage you not to fear the unknown & just go for it. Whatever it is in life you are passionate about or truly enjoy, give it your all.” Stream/download The Unknown, here.

It’s been a moment since we’ve visited with our favorite dance pachyderm from LA, but now that Elephante has released a terrific preview of his upcoming 9 track EP, it’s high time we delved straight back into the versatile artist’s vibrant music. Glass Mansion: Prologue features four tastes from the forthcoming project, which drops on June 15th. It’s a guest talent studded affair, as all four tracks he’s unveiled feature magnificent vocal cameos. For now, let’s turn our attention to Have It All, featuring ever pervasive chanteuse Nevve. Elephante presents us with an emotive stirring, lithesome skipping pop meets dance song with crisp affecting melodies and metallic thrumming synths. We can’t decide whether to melt into the floor or get up and dance. Maybe we can do both and “have it all”. Pre-order Glass Mansion, here. Apparently, Khamsin’s “way” is also our way. The French producer has released his much-anticipated new single, My Way, featuring long time IHM favorite MOONZz on stellar vocals. And the track’s melodic trap and high-wire future bass is exactly the type of dynamic electronica and pop we love. Intensive percussion, thrilling drops, and intricate instrumentals embellish the magnificent song. Khamsin, who’s also a member of electronic super group Slow Hours, has expertly blended live instrumentals (those smooth guitar licks, wow) with a vividly animated future bass sound. MOONZz vocals are beautiful over Khamsin’s whimsical soundscape. Stream/download My Way, here.

Uffie made a grand return last week with her first single in nearly a decade, giving us a sumptuously sleek and crisp bopping delight named Drugs. She’s quickly followed up the unexpected surprise with a guest appearance on Swedish electronic legends Galantis’ latest single, Spaceship. Lift up and blast off with this superb team-up as we get some classic Galantis vibes on the mellifluous bounding single, full of vivacious energy and buoyant synths. Perhaps this can be Grimes’ new theme song for when her new beau sends her to outer space on a Falcon 9. Galantis says: “
‎’Spaceship’ takes us to the core of Galantis and our love for dance music. We couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Uffie. The first time we heard ‘Pop The Glock’, it blew our minds… and since then, Uffie’s music has always stuck with us. See you on the dance floor!” Spaceship is out on Big Beat Records, stream/download, here.

Diplo and MØ have proven themselves a match made in heaven countless times over the years. Whether it was some of the songs on the Danish pop sensation’s debut album, or her collaborations with Major Lazer, or even earlier this year’s Blender, the production luminary’s style of balmy and buoyant electronica has befit MØ‘s spunky pop to the tee. The pair reunited again earlier this month on Stay Open, a summer verdant, mischievous sparring anthem as bright and contagious as any other track the two have put forth together. Stay Open is out now on Mad Decent. Stream/download, here.

The music scene lately is rife with exceptional female pop debuts, and quite a few of them are coming from legendary music town Nashville, too. Singer songwriter ELA Lindsey has made her engrossing debut with a gritty synthpop song named Healing Me Slow, a lush sonic elixir enveloped in ravishing beats. The track, which was premiered by our friends at We Found New Music, is a lavishly layered, restlessly agitated beauty. Ruddy and dark, with willowy ethereal vocals, Healing Me Slow keys us into a must watch new talent who only recently discovered her passion for music a few short years ago after relocating to Nashville from her hometown of Jupiter, Florida.

By releasing this new single, she hopes to inspire other women that might be starting their artistic journeys later than the typical industry standard usually allows for female pop stars. You can find the single on Apple Music, here.
