We’ve been watching the Asian hip hop landscape change and grow lately, and one of our favorite hip hop and trap groups to come out of this movement is Higher Brothers. The collective of rappers have even been supported by 88Rising and gone on tour internationally with the likes of Rich Brian and Joji. No doubt one of the group’s most catchy songs is Made In China, and that punchy track has now gotten the DJ Snake treatment on an incendiary bass-turnt remix. Go on and get those trap hands up as we lose it to the hard hitting trap and bass banger.

There’s been an inordinate amount of remixes when it comes to DJ Snake’s hit single A Different Way, featuring buttery melting vocals by hotly buzzing artist Lauv. And we’ve shared quite a few of them, too. Tony Romera, a producer from Lyon, France, offers up the latest can’t miss remix of A Different Way. He’s turned the track into a synth pumping, dance inducing banger filled to the brim with snazzy French house vibes. I’d imagine this is how a Daft Punk, k?d, and DJ Snake collaboration might sound like. Tony Romera’s remix is robust and electrifying, and it’s a free download, here.

DJ Snake’s collaboration with long time IHM favorite (and massively buzzing superstar in the making) Lauv is huge. It’s such an unforgettable anthem that a long list of incredible remixes by potent producers have been surfacing. 22 year old Los Angeles producer Dirty Audio joins that fray with his intensely enthralling remix of A Different Way, giving us one of the most heart pumping adrenaline rushes out of all the edits we’ve encountered to date. It’s a dominating production performance, with dramatic dubstep and cinematic trap frills added throughout the hybrid track. Chills and thrills abound on Dirty Audio’s A Different Way, and it’s a free download, here.

We were overjoyed when Lauv, the creamy melting crooner from New York we’ve been ardently supporting since his debut (and even before that, when he was a producer named Epique), made a melting guest appearance on DJ Snake’s hit single A Different Way. As expected, the song has spawned some splendid remixes, including this wicked edit by Los Angeles’ Noizu. He gives it a trappy, bassy house take bursting with electrifying energy and rambunctious drops. Noizu’s killer remix is part of a two track remix pack out now via Geffen / UMG. Versatile production mogul DJ Snake has teamed up with Austin’s Max Frost, a dashing long time IHM favorite, on Broken Summer, a dreamy smoldering, bittersweet yearning song that sees the producer going the more laid back slow burn electro-R&B route. DJ Snake has never been more chill intoxicating and sleek seductive with his beatmaking and songcrafting. Broken Summer oozes remorse and heartache. It’s just the right time of year for a restless song like this, as we turn our minds towards the emotions laying heavy on us and the mistakes and choices we regret from those warm summer evenings. I’m incredibly happy about Lauv’s swift ascent, but surprised I am not. We’ve been in love with this New Yorker’s creamy melting voice and heart wrenching R&B/electronic pop ballads from the moment he decided to share music as Lauv (after first enthralling us as a producer under the name Epique). Lauv is now such a hot commodity that even DJ Snake has tapped him for a collaboration. Behold smash hit in the making, A Different Way, a sharp and dapper dance and pop hybrid featuring Balearic springing production and Lauv’s waxy smooth cooing. It’s a bit like Ed Sheeran meets Mura Masa, with a bit of Diplo moombahton thrown in. Stream/purchase the single, here.

I know I’m a bit late on this one, and I have no idea how in the world I managed to skip over sharing this massive collaboration up till today, but here we are, ready to celebrate how fabulous a day it’s going to be with the banger (and it’s only going to get better when my Warriors beat the Jazz once again in the playoffs tonight). Yellow Claw’s Good Day, which received its first spin on BBC Radio 1 earlier this week, sees the Dutch duo linking up with DJ Snake and one of our spunky Swedish faves, Elliphant, for a punchy vibrant, frisky lurching ride. Good Day’s elastic bounces are contagious, and Elliphant’s fiery voice is invigorating. “It was a good day, oh what a good day, but it is long gone now,” she sings. Oh, how I disagree. Yellow Claw, DJ Snake, and Elliphant brings us a mighty good day, here and now. The track comes from Yellow Claw’s Billboard charting sophomore album Los Amsterdam, out now on iTunes via Mad Decent.

Dutch producer Bobby Rock truly “rocks” it on his recent banger You Know You Like It, a jouncing future house take on DJ Snake and AlunaGeorge’s You Know You Like It. The laser jabbing, jagged bouncing dazzler delivers electrifying thrills reminiscent of Oliver Heldens and Tchami. It’s just what the mind and body needs on a drowsy Monday morning. The jolt it delivers is far more efficient than a cup of coffee. Suddenly, we’re ready to conquer the week. Download You Know You Like It for free, here.

DJ Snake’s Here Comes The Night, featuring Mr. Hudson, is at the receiving end of some spectacular re-imaginings by major production heavy weights. The Grammy nominated producer has even enlisted ever incredible NGHTMRE for an edit, who gives us a surprisingly chill and melodic version of the song. We embark on a cosmic waltz underneath a twilight sky to NGHTMRE’s brassy prismatic future trap dalliance. The new remix pack for DJ Snake’s Here Comes The Night also features an acoustic version and edits by Crankdat, Junkie Kid, and Shockone. You can stream them all on DJ Snake’s Soundcloud, here.
