Post Malone’s viral tracks have proven themselves to be fine fodder for remixes of all kinds. A new producer on our radar from Boston named Adam Fine gives further weight to that realization by dropping off a percolating take on Psycho. Crisp jouncing beats and deep rumbling bass give Psycho a whole lot of vibrant pop on the brilliantly energized flip. Adam Fine’s atmospheric and rich interpretation of Psycho is lavishly astounding, and it’s a free download, here.

The Less I Know The Better is easily one of Tame Impala’s most recognized and widely loved psych rock songs. But have you ever wondered how it would sound in the dexterous hands of a visionary electronic producer? Germany’s SAINT WKND proves how truly spectacular such a feat could be with his spacey buzzing, rich whirring flip. His remix stays true to the original’s spiraling groove, yet adds a whole lot of electrifying thrills to the fuzzy fabric of the track. I just want to roll in its bass roiling texture and melt into its hallucinogenic structure.

The Knife’s Heartbeats will forever hold a very special place in my heart. It’s probably one of my all time favorite songs, and I can’t help but love some of the many covers of the track have surfaced in the past sixteen years, too. Autolaser, the prestigious producer who’s worked with the likes of Far East Movement, Yelawolf, Bone Thugs ‘N’ Harmony, and many more esteemed artists in the past, offers up his own re-imagining of the timeless classic. Oslo’s Ester Adele turns in celestial vocals on the glacial glimmering electronic approach on Heartbeats, a dreamy trickling beauty that opens up into a verdant wonderland of skipping beats and lush synths. It feels like we’ve traveled through a magical fantasy land with Autolaser and Ester Adele. It’s an ephemeral journey, but we get to take the ride over and over again by diving back into the exquisite future beats meets indie dance cover, whose ethereal effervescent and cosmic wonder are like M83 gone Odesza.

Marshmello and Selena Gomez’s majestic collaboration Wolves may have been released near the end of last year, but it quickly made such a commotion and climbed the charts so fast that it became one of 2017′s biggest crossover hits. There’s no forgetting that amazing AMA performance, either. As I’ve already said a handful of times, some incredible remixes have been spawned by the hit single. Canadian producer Vincent offered up a stunning future bass and chill trap configuration soon after the single’s release. Check out the track, here. And now, Los Angeles based producer Crystalize has precipitated his own take out of Vincent’s remix, giving it a softer edge and a some fluid whorling beauty with his future bass makeover. That’s right, this is a remix of a remix, an evolution of an evolution. Benjamin David of Crystalize explains that once he heard Vincent’s remix, he felt so connected that he knew he had to put his own spin on it. Crystalize’s heart-stopping, dramatic sweeping edit is a free download, here.

Who doesn’t love The Chordettes’ timeless 1950s classic Mr Sandman, originally written by Pat Ballard? Its doo-woppy barbershop pop is utterly infectious and oodles of bum-bum-bum fun. Chicago drummer and beatsmith Cofresi breathes new life into the oldie but goodie with a wickedly brilliant flip entitled Sandman, on which he douses the track with sharp trap chops and extra whimsical springs to create a modern makeover. Remixing Mr Sandman could go wrong in so many ways, but Cofresi hits the bulls-eye with this elastic bouncing edit that retains the original’s sugary sweetness. Grab the track, here.

I’m a devout fan of British band Wolf Alice and their 90s inspired rock. Though their 2017 album Visions of a Life was stupendous, my love for their earlier tracks is stronger than ever. Their music can’t be easy to remix, and it’s not often anyone wants to take on their alt rock and transform it into a dance track, but that’s exactly what Myten has done with White Leather, a song I adore very much. White Leather’s ethereal rock gets infused with a magnificent dosage of buoyant energy on Myten’s deep house remix, which at times carries the resiliency and sharpness of future house. Myten’s edit is dance paradise for a fan of both electronica and rock, and I’d like to thank him for giving us this deep thrumming gift, which is a free download, here

Nas & Ginuwine’s 1999 hip hop and R&B classic Owe Me gets the snazzy chic treatment by Midas Hutch on a fresh and funky, brassy and groovy flip, and I can’t stop dancing to the juicy plump jam. It’s the perfect way to feel cool while I celebrate another W under my Golden State Warriors’ belt (though I feel bad for Dunn’s face plant). The swagger is strong on this throwback banger, which more than tides us over while we await Midas Hutch’s new EP, which he promises is almost done. Download the dashing electro disco funk track, here.

Imogen Heap’s Hide and Seek holds a very special place in my heart. Not only was I once incredibly addicted to the brilliant artist’s finely layered, vocoder treated harmonies, but this song was a pivotal part of The O.C.’s soundtrack back in the days when I was obsessed with the show and its tragic plot. So when I saw that rising production talent Bishu had re-worked the track, my heart fluttered with excitement. And I fell hard again for Hide and Seek as I waded into this exceptionally crafted electronic rendering of the song. As much as I’m reeling under a heavy hit of nostalgia, this trap and bass Hide and Seek lifts me out from under that weight with its jarring drops and vigorous chops, leaving me beaming in ecstasy. Bishu created his track as part of his childhood remix series. Download this magnificent chapter, here.
