I know I’m a bit late on this one, and I have no idea how in the world I managed to skip over sharing this massive collaboration up till today, but here we are, ready to celebrate how fabulous a day it’s going to be with the banger (and it’s only going to get better when my Warriors beat the Jazz once again in the playoffs tonight). Yellow Claw’s Good Day, which received its first spin on BBC Radio 1 earlier this week, sees the Dutch duo linking up with DJ Snake and one of our spunky Swedish faves, Elliphant, for a punchy vibrant, frisky lurching ride. Good Day’s elastic bounces are contagious, and Elliphant’s fiery voice is invigorating. “It was a good day, oh what a good day, but it is long gone now,” she sings. Oh, how I disagree. Yellow Claw, DJ Snake, and Elliphant brings us a mighty good day, here and now. The track comes from Yellow Claw’s Billboard charting sophomore album Los Amsterdam, out now on iTunes via Mad Decent.

In but a little over a week, Australian duo Peking Duk will light up the Independent in San Francisco with their music. I’m pretty sure that their set is going to include brisk vivacious hit anthem Stranger, which features spunky Swedish pop starlet Elliphant on guest vocals. In the meantime, Peking Duk has released a new set of official remixes as part two of a remix package for Stranger, and the four track addendum features this smooth bounding edit by Los Angeles’ Jackal. His Stranger is a cool caressing, soft billowing glider. My heart glows from the dreamy pastels effusing from Jackal’s remix. Peking Duk’s Stranger remix package part 2 is out now on Spotify and it features additioanl edits by Wax Motif, Benson, and Faux Tales. Catch the pair at the Independent in SF on February 18th.

Last Friday, an absolutely ridiculous remix package was unleashed for Zeds Dead and Diplo’s massive tune, Blame, a hit single which blends electropop, future bass, and dubstep then tops it off with Elliphant’s spunky magnetic voice. The five track EP features edits by the likes of Gorgon City, Nebbra, Dirtyphonics, and Michael Sparks. It also features a colossal remix by rising LA project Champagne Drip, an electronic act I touted as a fast new favorite when debut EP Of Course I Still Loved You dropped last month. Prepare for an experience as effervescent beautiful as it is gut punching exhilarating as Champagne Drip douses Blame with a trap and melodic dubstep flurry of wavy trills and wobbly chops. You can download this remix and the rest of the Blame remixes from iTunes, here.

An astounding trifecta of talent brings us what is sure to be one of the electronic anthems of this ongoing summer. Canadian duo Zeds Dead teamed up with Diplo on wildly infectious Blame, which features long time IHM favorite Scandipop artist Elliphant on spunky magnetic vocals. Blame is a mellifluous cross between electronic pop, future bass, and dubstep. The monster of a regal sweeping single is available from various outlets, here. I have a feeling some tremendous remixes will be coming our way soon. I can’t wait to hear them all.

Some absolutely spectacular collaborations are coming out of Red Bull’s exclusive 20 Before 16 series, in which twenty new tunes would be released by 2016. The latest song from the series is a bold and sweeping tune named Where Is Home that brings together Elliphant’s electropop sass with the epic synthpop flare of Twin Shadow. Needless to say, the two powerful artists unite for a bombastic, powerful pop effect. Where Is Home will also be on Elliphant’s just announced debut full length, Living Life Golden, due out March 25th. Having been a long time fan of the Danish pop artist, and having been blown away by her live set at Popscene earlier this year, I can’t be more excited.

Elliphant’s Love Me Better gets a sexy indie dance and electro remix by Penguin Prison! The producer from New York smooths out her signature sassy dancehall flavored electronic pop with some smooth, glistening synths and a glowing 80′s sheen. It’s a boogie ready, heart warmingly joyous jam, and it’s available on iTunes, now.

I swear that when RAC starts rolling with the hot tunes, he keeps rolling for a good long while. I remember him dropping tracks and remixes left and right for some months, then going silent, and now, in just one week, he already has two hot tunes for us. Following up on his release of a Harriet remix last week, Andre Anjos is here to give us an exhilarating remix of Elliphant’s Never Been In Love. I’m much excited about this choice of material to remix, as I just caught Elliphant live a couple weeks ago and was floored by her charisma and fire on stage. At times, she reminded me of a Fergie meets MIA concoction of pure, captivating brilliance. RAC’s remix of Elliphant’s Never Been In Love takes the reggae laced pop song to skyrocketing levels of dance pop euphoria.

I’m still crazy fond of Elliphant’s One More, a collaboration with Danish pop musician  and the perfect combo of the two’s sounds. After all, I was hoping for quite some time that the two would team up on a song, having noticed how well their individual styles would match. Danish producer ELOQ has crafted a new version of One More for us to enjoy. His remix is a subtle, restrained future trap delight, one that’s weightless, elegant, and luxuriant. The remix was created for the Red Bull 20 Before 15 series last month.

In case you missed Elliphant’s collaboration with  last week on One More, here’s your chance to get up on the tune thanks to the new video. I myself am incredibly fond of it, after having felt for a long time that the two spunky Scandinavian pop artists would align well with their styles of music. Each badass lady holds her own style distinctly and clear on the delicious song that builds slowly in intensity. The video looks like it was tons of fun to film, though in an edgy fashion. Hey, girls just wanna have fun, right? Thank you two for collaborating together, and I’m looking forward to seeing them live at different shows within the next month or so. If you haven’t seen MØ live, and you plan on it, you’re in for a super treat. I can only imagine Elliphant will be just as exciting live.
