It’s been a moment since we’ve visited with our favorite dance pachyderm from LA, but now that Elephante has released a terrific preview of his upcoming 9 track EP, it’s high time we delved straight back into the versatile artist’s vibrant music. Glass Mansion: Prologue features four tastes from the forthcoming project, which drops on June 15th. It’s a guest talent studded affair, as all four tracks he’s unveiled feature magnificent vocal cameos. For now, let’s turn our attention to Have It All, featuring ever pervasive chanteuse Nevve. Elephante presents us with an emotive stirring, lithesome skipping pop meets dance song with crisp affecting melodies and metallic thrumming synths. We can’t decide whether to melt into the floor or get up and dance. Maybe we can do both and “have it all”. Pre-order Glass Mansion, here. Though Cymba and Victoria Rojas are both new on our radar, we’ve been convinced by their song together that we need to follow both the artists closely going forth. Cymba, a production project from the windy city of Chicago, offers up dusky plinking, haute enchanting future bass and chill trap on Lost, whilst fellow Chi-town talent Victoria Rojas turns in sweetly soothing, honeyed and supple vocals on the endearing track. If this is what being lost feels like, then sign me up, I don’t want to ever be found again! Lost can also be streamed/downloaded via alternate outlets, here.

Apparently, Khamsin’s “way” is also our way. The French producer has released his much-anticipated new single, My Way, featuring long time IHM favorite MOONZz on stellar vocals. And the track’s melodic trap and high-wire future bass is exactly the type of dynamic electronica and pop we love. Intensive percussion, thrilling drops, and intricate instrumentals embellish the magnificent song. Khamsin, who’s also a member of electronic super group Slow Hours, has expertly blended live instrumentals (those smooth guitar licks, wow) with a vividly animated future bass sound. MOONZz vocals are beautiful over Khamsin’s whimsical soundscape. Stream/download My Way, here.

Line this up for anthem of the summer, because this crisp flickering, sweetly polished gem is immediately contagious and a wonderfully heart caressing treat! New Zealand’s BAYNK just dropped two fine new tunes the other day, and to miss out on any of those tracks would be nothing short of criminal. The producer enchants us with glossy sleek pop and dreamy burbling electronica on Be In Love. The sprightly prancing, elegantly rippling song is both entrancing and exhilarating, with eloquent keys and chiffon light vocals. In some ways, Be In Love is like Caribou and Sampha, encapsulated in a more subtle and silky soundscape. BAYNK’s new double-A side single also features exultant Years, a satin smooth electronic track that continues to spellbind us to the utmost. Stream Years below. Life is more than beautiful when you have someone like French production phenom Kidswaste to soundtrack your days. The producer sends tingles down our spines with a stunning new future pop/future bass twinkler named Beautiful Life, featuring none other than fast ascending pop artist Sophie Simmons, who just gave us a dark scorcher of a pop dazzler named Burn Me Down a few weeks ago. She lends soft, honeyed vocals to Kidswaste’s new song, enchanting us to the utmost alongside a phosphorescent pleat of ornately trickling beats and gently plinking keys. I love sweet juicy cherries, and I love hanging at the beach, so I couldn’t help but be drawn to Cherry Beach’s name even before I listened to their debut single. Once I heard the new Los Angeles duo’s first song, Gravity, I had to wonder… Could this sonic experience be better than cherries and beaches, combined? Cherry Beach fuses future bass, deep house, and electro-pop flawlessly on the song, giving us a gravity defying, brisk bounding confection whose limber beats, supple vocals, and melodious chorus are irresistibly contagious. Cherry Beach’s debut can be streamed/downloaded, here.

The cool refreshing pitter-patter of rain greets our ears as we gently step into All About, a gorgeous introduction to Ruuth. The singer songwriter from Germany had previously graced a few superb electronic releases by the likes of Lucian and Christian Reindl with her voice, but she now steps into the spotlight solo with All About, a crystalline electro-pop gem with honeyed vocals and spry, airy beats. The lightly flickering future pop song is deservedly garnering a lot of love in the few days it’s been out. We already can’t wait for a next solo single from Ruuth.

We’re still trying to get used to calling Pluko by his new moniker, having been fans of the Pittsburgh production whiz’s bedazzling concoctions for a long time whilst he was known as Pluto. The artist, who’s now signed to visionary label Foreign Family Collective, has teamed up with husky voiced singer songwriter MOONZz on a stunning new song named ‘asleep’. The dusky late night ballad seems to transport us straight into our darkest dreams, where our deepest desires reside. ‘asleep’ leaves us breathless with its tensely haunting, darkly churning future bass. It’s a slow burner of an atmospheric gem, one that leaves a more than lasting impression after its last poignant notes fade into the distance. Purchase/stream via alternate outlets, here.

It might not be morning right now as we share this next iridescent electronica and pop charmer, but it might as well be the best morning ever as TastyTreat and Claire Ridgely inject us with bright eyed wonder and vernal energy with their new song, Good Morning Jay. As always, we find ourselves turning to mush to the tune of Claire Ridgely’s soft, supple voice, while TastyTreat’s lavishly constructed future bass and chill trap production treats our ears to a wondrous fantasy-land full of vibrant life. Snazzy keys adorn the candy-coated aria, adding to the song’s intricate enchantment. Good Morning Jay is the living embodiment of a sublime Sunday morning, “rolled up under the covers” with that special someone. Monday seems incredibly far away, plus we’d rather just enjoy the moment, before we have to say goodbye and deal with those “Monday blues”. Stream/download the single, here.
