Historically, Bonnie and Clyde were notorious criminals, yet famed legends… but there’s another distinguished duo named BONNIE X CLYDE who’s well worthy of our obsession these days. The vocal bass duo continue to mesmerize and thrill us with their brand of cinematic future bass on The Unknown. Beautifully haunting vocals, reminiscent of early BROODS, Echos, and

XYLØ, pull us into an inky world full of exciting mystery and intrigue. BXC explain: “This track was inspired by the unknown. That feeling of being unsure about what’s coming, what’s next, what things will look like in the future & not being fully sure of what will happen. Through this song we encourage you not to fear the unknown & just go for it. Whatever it is in life you are passionate about or truly enjoy, give it your all.” Stream/download The Unknown, here.

Expert vocal bass duo BONNIE X CLYDE are at it again, delivering a heart wrenching and dramatic performance as they team up with bass production duo PURGE on a riveting and electrifying new original named Torn. The magnificent opus is a gripping melodic bass stunner. Its dark crawl and a grandiose ascent take us to enlightening heights of catharsis. Exhilarating drops and exceptional vocals proliferate on Torn. Our hearts palpitate ever so rapidly in the wake of all of Torn’s emotional surge. You can purchase/stream Torn, here.

Bonnie X Clyde’s Rise Above is an anthem of strength and vitality, a steadfast and resolute future bass and melodic bass opus that is a testament to this fast rising production and vocalist duo’s talent. The pair, known for creating the term “vocal bass”, have now offered up their own VIP of the track, and it’s a stupendous rendering of the original that amplifies its potency and fortitude. It’s a clout of a sawing, surging remix, as grandly expansive as they come, and it comes just ahead of the pair’s appearance at EDC in Las Vegas. In fact, the track is on a compilation from Insomniac Records for the festival, available here.

I’ve been naming Los Angeles by way of Florida production and vocalist duo Bonnie x Clyde as one to watch for the past year, and the EP they dropped earlier this month serves as fine vindication of my conviction. Their five track Wanted EP is out now on Interscope, and it features this emotionally charged behemoth of a tune named Hooked. If anyone’s hooked on anything, it’s me on this Bonnie x Clyde. A breathy ethereal yet vigorously dominant fusion of melodic dubstep, future trap, and gritty bass come together for a massively cathartic journey. Hooked’s precipitous drops and aerial climbs are beautifully breathtaking. Bonnie x Clyde’s Wanted EP can be purchased from iTunes. You can stream Hooked via Soundcloud below, too.

Production and vocalist duo Bonnie x Clyde continue their fast ascent with a fresh new fusion of future bass, trap, deep house, and Jersey club named Tonight. This evening could never be more glorious than now, with the percolating beats, crisp synths, and choppy vocals of this duo’s music sending waves of serotonin and adrenaline across the synapses of my brain. The single is part of the “Discovery Project Releases” series, and it’s inspired by a woman expressing herself to a man through a dance duel. Download Tonight for free from Toneden.

One of my favorite electronic duos, producer and vocalist Bonnie x Clyde, has partnered up with another force of a producer to be reckoned with, Miami’s Havok Roth, on a wicked new track. Closer is a ferocious jam, as smoldering seductive as it is spine tingling exhilarating. Smoky sensual vocals glide satin smooth in an ocean of lithe rippling, nimbly percolating, bass quivering trap. Closer is breathtaking, and it’s a free download, here.

I named producer and vocalist duo BONNIE X CLYDE a partner project to watch late last year. I stand by that statement, ever more stalwartly, after hearing the duo’s new future bass and trap anthem Where It Hurts. My pulse quickens as its shimmering chops and oscillation swells send fire through my soul. Husky, smoky vocals rapacious drum work make Where It Hurts a vibrantly dynamic, fully exhilarating charge of aching passion. Download Where It Hurts for free, here.

There’s no doubt in my mind that producer and vocalist duo BONNIE X CLYDE are partners in crime to watch. They newcomers grabbed hold of my electronic and trap hungry attention this morning with a new edit of RL Grime’s The Hills remix, but I was even more drawn into their sound when I visited recent original Rise Above, a trap and future bass extravaganza with much endearing vocals. EDM festival heads will appreciate the sheer power of the track, while homebodies will love the enchanting properties of the wistful melody. If XYLØ went full on trap, this might be how they’d sound. Download Rise Above for free, here. Then jump into Bonnie X Clyde’s edit of RL Grime’s The Hills below for some bonus trap thrills.
