It’s been a moment since we’ve visited with our favorite dance pachyderm from LA, but now that Elephante has released a terrific preview of his upcoming 9 track EP, it’s high time we delved straight back into the versatile artist’s vibrant music. Glass Mansion: Prologue features four tastes from the forthcoming project, which drops on June 15th. It’s a guest talent studded affair, as all four tracks he’s unveiled feature magnificent vocal cameos. For now, let’s turn our attention to Have It All, featuring ever pervasive chanteuse Nevve. Elephante presents us with an emotive stirring, lithesome skipping pop meets dance song with crisp affecting melodies and metallic thrumming synths. We can’t decide whether to melt into the floor or get up and dance. Maybe we can do both and “have it all”. Pre-order Glass Mansion, here. StéLouse has been a long favorite on IHM. And we just learned that the Denver based producer has chosen to change his name, or rather, the way he spells his name, to StayLoose (perhaps to avoid any pronunciation confusion?). With the nom du plume transformation comes a new song that marks a fresh direction for the esteemed artist, too. Fight Back, which features ever pervasive guest vocalist Nevve on spirited vocals, ventures deep into high voltage melodic pop with its rhythmic marching beats, high flying melody, and rollicking percussion. It’s a vigorous and mighty anthem, a tenaciously encouraging rallying cry. StayLoose explains:

“With so much happening in the world and everyone with a different opinion and belief system, we must remember that its through a unified front, through taking a stand together, that we have the ability to make the changes we wish to see in the world”. Fight Back, out on Dim Mak, can be found on Apple Music, here.

There was no way a week could slide by with another superb electronic track surfacing featuring Nevve on guest vocals. The enigmatic songbird has to be one of the most on-demand topliners of the moment! This time around, she’s joined Mexico’s Boombox Cartel on the swiftly ascending electronic duo’s rapturous new song, Whisper. Her breathy vocals are a perfect accompaniment to the producers’ airy chiming, euphonious whirring future bass and chill trap, making Whisper as sweet a nimble and limber electronic beauty as can be. The astute artists also meld their production capabilities with some dreamy strings and earthy strums. It’s no wonder they’ve been hotly tipped as a next big thing in dance music. Whisper is out on Mad Decent, you can purchase/stream the single, here.

We’ve said it countless times previously, but let’s all say it together again: Nevve is everywhere! The much-in-demand vocal talent lends her immaculate voice to yet another fine electronic tune, soaking 3LAU’s On My Own with her sweet and agile cooing. The Las Vegas producer has crafted a crisp and iridescent dance track to lift our spirits and enamor our hearts. We dance… whether on our own or with someone special is irrelevant. What matters is the warm contentment radiating throughout our heart thanks to this smooth pumping, honeyed soaring house gem. On My Own will be on 3LAU’s new album Ultraviolet, arriving this Friday February 16th. 3LAU is generously and kindly donating all profits from On My Own to F Cancer, too. Honeyed chanteuse Nevve really does seem to be everywhere these days, as we’ve already said plenteous times prior. Alongside collaborations with Manila Killa and Robotaki, she’s now turned up on a fresh new single from Dutch production talents DROELOE, too, lending her enthralling vocals to the pair’s future bass stand out, BACKBONE. DROELOE’s grand charging, majestic marching trap and bass swivels and thunders resolutely, creating a widescreen and cinematic voyage for us listeners. Though its synths hit hard, and though both its bass and fierce lyrics carry a peppery bite, BACKBONE is a graceful and limber work of beautiful art. DROELOE explains: “This single is all about not letting your doubts get to your head, so we hope it inspires you to do something you’ve been holding back from.” You can stream/download the inspiring anthem, here.

There are some really sweet jams that we’re long overdue on sharing. If you’re as much a fan of Montreal’s Robotaki as we are, you’ve probably been grooving out to this tune for well over a week. Nevve, the honeyed songbird who seems to be everywhere these days, lends her gorgeous vocals to Together We’re Screwed, a bittersweet yet melodious and bright future pop gem lifted from Robotaki’s forthcoming EP. Phosphorescent flickering synths and spry whizzing beats join Nevve in wrapping us in a weightlessly stirring warmth on this ode to star crossed lovers. When new Manila Killa arises, you’d better be ready for a moving electronic experience. The producer, also much loved for his work as one half of Hotel Garuda, tends to tug at heart strings with his melodious and affecting brand of future pop and electronica. Despite how busy Chris Gavino must be with all the various tours, releases, and production endeavors he’s involved in as a multi-faceted artist, he’s found time to link up with honeyed vocalist Nevve on new single ‘Everyday, Everyday’, a dreamy celestial, effervescent springing future pop anthem that leaves us quite breathless with its towering magnificence and sparkling beauty. Could this be our favorite Manila Killa song thus far? It’s quite possible, until of course, we get drawn back into one of his many other sterling tracks of yore. The Washington, D.C. native, a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene, will be performing at Moving Castle World this weekend, which boasts an incredible lineup of Moving Castle artists and friends. ‘Everyday, Everyday’ can also be streamed via other platforms, here. Tickets to Moving Castle World in LA are available, here.

Nevve might be one of the most in demand female vocalists in the electronic scene these days! She seems to have collaborated with just about everyone. Nary a week goes by without a track featuring Nevve, and we’re overjoyed with her saccharine contribution to California producer Max Styler’s effervescent new original, too. “Heroes” they both are on their bubbly infectious future pop track, an aureate glowing, airy frolicking dalliance that exudes youthful energy. I’ve always found cityscapes to be beautiful at night, with all the lights twinkling in the distance. I stare up into lit windows floating high above concrete ground, wondering about the stories playing out within closed walls. Viennese production duo Palastic encapsulates some of that wonder and a whole lot of sparkling nostalgia on City Lights, a beautifully tinkling, celestial twinkling single featuring Nevve and her beautifully supple, oft encountered voice on guest vocals. Palastic expertly combines dreamy guitar strums and brassy buoyant jabs with delicate and ethereal electronica on the lovely song, which can be purchased/streamed, here.

“Dreams come alive,” coos pervasive guest vocalist Nevve as she serenades us from the midst of Taska Black’s cosmic new song. Dreaming really does seem to come alive right before our eyes, er, ears, as its chromatic synths enchant with vibrant arpeggios and its marching beat delivers an epic, cinematic experience. The Belgian producer’s incandescent charging future trap oeuvre is the third single off of Bitbird’s much anticipated Gouldian Finch 02 compilation. Stream/download, here.
