It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know this next one is an epic track, even if you haven’t listened to it yet. After all, it brings together the talented expertise of Seattle dubstep/electro prodigy Seven Lions, Austin luminaries Tritonal, and NYC dubstep/electro connoisseurs Kill The Noise, AND it features breathtaking vocals by LA chanteuse HALIENE, too! We find ourselves racing our way towards a beautiful “horizon” on the plumed wings of this majestic and grand opus. Mellifluous yet heavy, smooth rolling yet resolute, this four way collaboration fuses electro house, dubstep, pop, future bass, and even drum & bass to give us a cornucopia of scintillating feels. Horizon can also be streamed and purchased, here.

What do you get when you unite Denvor melodic bass luminary Illenium with long time New York dubstep/electro pro Kill The Noise, then invite Los Angeles based DJ/production maestro Mako to join in on the virile sonic party, too? A treasure trove of jarring thrills and hypnotic vocals named Don’t Give Up On Me, that’s what! Lush orchestral melodic bass and hard hitting dubstep take front and center stage on this glorious anthem. It’s a cinematic joy ride, an epic saga of a listen. Grab the three way magnum opus, here.

Earlier this year, the members of beloved indie pop band Little Daylight surprised us with a fresh new project named Me Not You, on which they showcased a very different side to their musical sensibility. The project from New York now returns with a dizzy whirling, sleek wheeling new tune named Kill The Noise. Not one ounce of you is going to want to kill this nebulous entrapping, turbid intoxicating “noise”. Dark electro rock, brooding alt pop, and 90′s alternative intermingle on the compelling piece. Re-visit Me Not You’s last two tracks on their Soundcloud, here.

Though Slander’s remix of Kill The Noise’s Kill It 4 The Kids begins with the most elegant and graceful piano intro, it quickly crescendos into what one would normally expect from the Los Angeles based duo. And somehow, that gorgeous and clean opening only adds to the sheer magnitude of this audacious remix, a full on filthy bass, jagged beats, choppy vocals eruption of fortitude. It’s guts and glory all around on this crushing trap remix. I’m pretty sure some blood and sweat are involved too, I can nearly taste a metallic tang and a biting salinity in the air whilst lost in this bone rattling, mind jolting work of exhilaration. I can’t imagine how much of an impact the track would make live. Some of you will get to experience the immensity of it when Slander embarks on tour later this month. Download their remix of Kill It 4 The Kids from Toneden, and head to their site for more information about the tour, here.

The blood in my veins pump profusely and intensely to the pulsating beats of this magnificent new remix of Kill The Noise’s Without A Trace. At the helm of this release is fast rising production talent REZZ. Plunge into her darkly hypnotic, breathtaking atmospheric edit and lose yourself in its slick groove and meditative allure. She seamlessly combines techno and deep house on the thrumming gem, punctuated with ambient moments of pure grace. The remix is a free download, courtesy of OWSLA, here.

If NRG, which formidably united Duck Sauce, Skrillex, Kill The Noise, and Milo & Otis all in one, isn’t already a mind blowing feat of infectious dance energy and an epic amalgamation of production talent, then this Choppa Dunks Flip will certainly take it straight over the top and sky high with its dauntless exertion and filthy grit. If it’s wide eyed, joyous build ups and face melting drops you crave, then get ready to get down and dirty to the fest ready, bass blasting flip. You can download the NYC based producer’s violently bombastic remix for free, here.

I’m thrilled that I caught this one on my socials earlier today, because Los Angeles based producer Brillz has me energized and ready for the weekend after a very long and tiring week with a massive mega cover. Brillz turns in a “One Man Band Cover” of the whomping Skrillex, Kill The Noise, and Milo & Otis remix of Duck Sauce’s NRG. It’s like NRG to the third power! Or is that… 5th power, since so many producers were involved in the “second stage” of this evolution? Brillz crafted this cover to challenge himself. He wanted to create a fresh track with all live instruments, and I do believe he’s succeeded at his own challenge! His dazzling, slamming NRG is a colorful, organic electro house meets synthrock spectacular.

I’m really hopping into the super fun electronic treats now, to welcome the beginning of a sure to be fantastic weekend (especially here in America, where we have a holiday on Monday). Flux Pavilion was one of my early dubstep favorites back in the day, and I still have a special place in my heart for Cracks. Of course, the dubstep power producer has put out plenty of great electronic tracks since, including Freeway, off his EP from a year ago. Flux Pavilion has teamed up with another power electronic producer, Kill The Noise, on this wicked remix of Freeway. It’s an updated version that carries some of the sounds du jour of now… which, of course, would be 808s and trap. There will be a bevy of other remixes from Freeway coming soon, and they’ll be released together on the Freeway Remix EP in October.

Let’s finish for the moment with a remix many of you may have already heard, considering its racked up over 600K plays on Soundcloud in just four days! It’s a star studded affair. Skrillex, Kill The Noise, and Milo & Otis remixed Duck Sauce’s NRG! And as you should know, Duck Sauce is the duo made up of A-Trak and Arman Van Helden. You’d think there’s such a thing as too many cooks in the kitchen when it comes to music, but apparently not, because this is one high energy, super awesome, mega killer banger! I feel a burst of explosive joy, like I want to jump out of my skin, every time I hit the play button on this. Add it to your happy music playlist.
