Australia’s Night Tales first dazzled us late last year with their debut single Move You, a deep pumping, dark sweltering electronic ode to unrequited love. The duo, formed by producer Third Floor and singer songwriter Kamaliza (previously of Olympic Ayres), return with an ace new jam named Want, which we can’t stop wanting more of after grooving to our hearts content to the song’s balmy sunset house and silky crooning by guest vocalist fellow Australian songstress Kimono. Chill disco beats, sultry horns, and some sweet RÜFÜS vibes abound on the molten electronic track. Want is out now on Majestic Casual. Find it, here.

Night Tales is a new project out of Australia created by producer Third Floor and singer songwriter Kamaliza (ex-frontman of Olympic Ayres). The pair make their first impact on the scene with Move You, a deep pumping, dark sweltering electronic ode to unrequited love. They say of the luscious dance track: “We wanted to create and explore more dance floor focused music, but still stay true to the DNA of our individual projects. The result of this super duo project has enabled us to bring out a more moodier yet passionate side of our creative minds.” Move You is a taste of much more to come from the new project. We’ll be dancing away to this smoldering debut as we look forward to Night Tales’ next release. The single is out via Majestic Casual Records. Purchase, here.

When I first heard South London trio Dems some months ago, I was utterly hypnotized and bewitched by their atmospheric electronic pop, full of doleful darkness and downtempo ambiance. At the time, they were said to be working on a debut album. Well, kids, come November 29, Dems is going to release Muscle Memory, via Sew In Love Records. Stream new single Night Tales above, a haunting, ethereal listen. The vocals nearly seem invasive with their abrupt punctuation, but it adds to the song’s intricately crafted, moving effect. Let’s revisit the effervescent, wispy Got No Brains below, which first hooked me into Dems’ music.
