So I thought I was done for the night and would continue on my behemoth list of songs to feature tomorrow morning. That is, until Flight Facilities dropped their brand new song. Behold, All Your Love, which features Sydney’s Dustin Tebbutt on transcendental vocals. Not only am I (and most of my friends) ardent FF fans, but this song is phenomenal, so I had to hop back on for a prompt share. All Your Love is a drastic departure from Flight Facilities’ more disco grooving tracks of yore. Instead, it seems to lean towards a deep luscious, ambient pumping organic house tone reminiscent of RÜFÜS DU SOL or Elderbrook, both of whom I’m also huge fans of, so I’m a happy camper right now whilst I’m already on my fifth or sixth listen of All Your Love. Australian electronic duo Flight Facilities are in the midst of their Return Flight tour and now they’ve followed it up with this brilliant song. It’s turning into one fine 2018 for FF fans like me. All Your Love is a meditative and expansive song simultaneously intimate soothing and atmospheric sprawling. It wraps us up in its shimmering beats, comforting us and dispersing a calm tranquility from within its ever evolving fluidity. We sink into its beauty, finding inner peace in it despite all the chaos around us. Stream/purchase All Your Love, here. Find out about FF’s tour, here. We’re hoping a Bay Area date gets added soon.

We ascend to cloud nine as two of our all time favorite electronic acts, Seattle’s ODESZA and Australia’s Flight Facilities, come together on a track off ODESZA’s new Higher Ground remix pack. I’ll let that sink in for a moment… this is two juggernaut production forces with completely different artistic styles. That’s right, Flight Facilities has given Higher Ground, one of the most beautiful arias off ODESZA’s beloved album A Moment Apart, a lush, halcyon house edit! Their remix departs from their usual disco imbued dance music, but it’s a deep thrumming, verdant and feathery beauty nonetheless with glowing sunset vibes enhanced by Naomi Wild’s gorgeous voice. ODESZA’s new remix pack also features remixes by Reske, pluko (fka Pluto), and the original version of HIgher Ground. Stream in full on Soundcloud, here. Support via alternate platforms, here.

After releasing Stranded a few months ago, and Arty Boy a few months prior to that, Australia’s Flight Facilities hasn’t uttered so much as a peep for awhile. That is, until recently, when they started teasing their return with some mysterious visuals. Lo and behold, today they’ve unleashed on us a smooth polished and cool pumping new track named Need You, featuring sugary vocals by New Zealand’s NÏKA. The track arrives with a compendium of vintage footage in its music video, including shots of Arnold Schwarzenegger, which continues the peculiar theme they started in the video for Arty Boy, which also alluded to the Guvernator. Need You has all the markings of a classic Flight Facilities jam. Its chill disco and glistening house seams urge us to dance and celebrate the return of one of our all time favorite dance troupes. Flight Facilities also announced a new tour earlier today. Though no San Francisco stop is listed on their The Return Flight tour, we have a feeling they’ll be part of some festival lineups. Stream/download Need You, out on Future Classic, here.

LNTG, as we’ve learned today, stands for Late Nite Tuff Guy, but we have a feeling this producer from Australia has a gooey core despite that slick and dapper outer shell. How else could he come up with such a seductive swooning track like this glam twirling, sweetly melting remix of Flight Facilities’ huge collaboration with Broods, Reggie Watts, and Saro? Stranded goes all out funky grooving disco house on LNTG’s deep pumping, sexy whirling official remix. We’ll be “late night dancing” to Late Nite Tuff Guy. His remix is even a free download, here.

Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! Guess who’s back with a fresh new tune? Australian disco and electronica duo Flight Facilities, that’s who! It’s always a big deal when the Sydney producers drop a new one, much less another guest studded affair like Stranded, featuring electropop darlings Broods, multi-talented artist Reggie Watts, and Los Angeles vocalist Saro! Funky keys, sultry vocals, and a whole lot of soulful disco charm abound on this classy composition. Stranded comes with a peculiarly captivating music video filmed in a decommissioned prison in Sydney. Director Tom Noakes explores the relationship between two lovers and the emotions that can surface in a simple human embrace in his film. Stream/purchase Stranded, here. Along with the release of last single Arty Boy, 2017′s turning out to be a fine one for this long time Flight Facilities fan.

Manila Killa, the Moving Castle production artisan who’s also well loved for his role in Hotel Garuda, has given us his take on Flight Facilities’ disco dance bonanza Arty Boy featuring Emma Louise, and it’s an absolute zinger! We’re blasted with a warm gust of euphoria as this frisky prancing, choppy bounding future beats gold mine bursts with dazzling bright brilliance. Manila Killa’s remix hits all digital retailers on Friday. Catch him in the mist of his tour with Robotaki, dates and details, here.

Australia seems to have an endless sea of production talent at any given moment. I could start a whole new blog and focus my attention solely on Australian electronic artists and still have my plate fully loaded every day. It’s a mega Australian affair as Swindail gives Flight Facilities’ disco groovy Arty Boy, featuring Emma Louise, a mighty sweet remix. The frothy curling, bubbly tossing electro edit is pure entrancing ecstasy, yet it stays true to the original’s teasing charm. The official remix is available, here. Alongside Swindail’s remix comes another sublime edit by Soulection talent Jarreau Vandal, and it’s a must listen, too. Take his snazzy grooving, funky chic remix for a spin below.

You know we’re in for a mighty fine treat when a remix of Flight Facilities by Joe Goddard crops up. The gifted producer and beloved member of Hot Chip and The 2 Bears has given Flight Facilities long awaited recent single Arty Boy an swirly entrancing deep disco house re-fix that leaves us with a strong urge to hit the dance floors with our very best dance moves on this fine Friday night. Joe Goddard’s remix is dark and visceral, yet glamorous and flashy. Flight Facilities explains: “Joe has always been an inspiration of ours, whether it’s as himself, 2 Bears or Hot Chip. We’re over the moon to have his interpretation of Arty Boy out in the world: Out now:”

We have a new set of features prepped and ready to share, and we’re hoping we’ll have time to start on them tonight. But for now, we’re going to have to stop everything for this, because it’s new FLIGHT FACILITIES! That’s right, our favorite Australian disco dance purveyors are back with their first new song in three years. Arty Boy is a decadent and luxuriant return. Its smooth pizzazz and honeyed disco extravagance are everything we’ve been missing about this beloved pair. The song even features Australian singer songwriter Emma Louise on golden luscious guest vocals. Arty Boy is a song that takes me right back to the days of my Crave You and Foreign Language obsessions. The single arrives with a music video, directed by German collective Jünglinge, which tells a strange little tale about a couple who were friends with the Guvernator, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hopefully this glamorous new tune is a sign of much more to come soon from Flight Facilities. Arty Boy is out now via Future Classic.
