Prince Fox, one of our long time favorite East Coast producers (who we fell head over heels for when he served up a magnificent Sam Smith remix, what feels like lifetimes ago) has taken his time to craft and release his music after his meteoric ascent in the electronic music scene. He’s practically a pioneer in the future pop scene after firing off his first originals, and he seems to have a knack when it comes to making smash hits that also involve popular actresses who are also musicians (ie. Hailee Steinfeld, Bella Thorne). But it’s not a lady of the silver screen that he links up for new song this time around. Prince Fox has teamed up with prolific Detroit project Quinn XCII instead on Space, a punchy chopping, electro bouncing jam that first premiered on Billboard. The propulsive dance dazzler is buttery smooth, partly thanks to Quinn XCII’s vocals, yet springy contagious. And it isn’t lacking when it comes to sweetly aching emotion, either. Wildly infectious Space, which is out now on Dim Mak, can be purchased from iTunes, here.

British project Drones Club appeared out of the woodwork last year with a stunning debut named Soul Of A Spaceman. We learned at the time that they were inspired by unorthodox collectives like The KLF or Spiritualized, and they enamored us with their synth pulsing dance vivacity. The band has shared a new music video for their recent single International, affording us the chance to partake in its electro & disco saturated vibrancy in spades. If you were to take aforementioned Spiritualized and then drenched them in a heavy dose of Miike Snow and plenty of RÜFÜS DU SOL, it might sound something like International. This is an epic sprawling alt dance piece. It’s only fitting that its nifty video features some fine modern choreography in a cold concrete tube station. You can also stream Drones Club’s music via Spotify, here.

Massive indeed is West Coast Massive’s very first original. The new LA based electronic duo thrilled the scene with their remix of Jack Ü hit Take U There featuring Kiesza over a year ago, a must listen wicked good track you can find, here. Space is their debut original, a melodic future bass banger that recalls the hazy entrancing shimmers of a mirage rising off the hot ground on sweltering day. Phoenix songbird Carly Paige turns in captivating vocals whose brief spouts of raspiness evoke Meiko and JES (whom older trance heads should remember from classic Motorcycle hit As The Rush Comes). Space’s warm guitar licks and lavish chords combine for some blissed out Gryffin meets The Chainsmokers intoxication. West Coast Massive’s fine debut is a free download, here.

New duo Safetalk certainly provides us with some snug, comforting, and secure space to wallow in with the Paris & Berlin newcomers’ debut single, Universal. The spacey blipping electro and soft misty alt pop found on this dreamy serene single places me in a calm, contemplative trance. I feel as if I’m floating high above the stratosphere, where I find I’m able to take in the world from a different perspective. It’s a near spiritual experience and very humbling, too. Safetalk wraps us up with their cottony gem, and all I want to do is spend the rest of all time cushioned in its fleecy folds. You can purchase Universal from various outlets, here. The single can also be streamed via Soundcloud below.

If you’ve yet to see the brand new video Yuksek unleashed earlier this week, toss on your best astronaut suit, check your oxygen supply, and get ready for some zero gravity thrills. The amazing video for the French producer’s rapturously lush house anthem Live Alone is cooler than the film Gravity. In fact, it’s spiffier than Interstellar, and more real than that nifty Mars television series that showed on National Geographic just a few months ago. You see, what you’re watching right now is authentic footage taken from the International Space Station by Yuksek’s good friend, European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Pesquet. The strikingly executed visual achievement also comes courtesy of director Jérôme de Gerlache. This clarion scenery from the vacuum of space is an obvious play on Live Alone’s title and lyrics, but those spectacular vistas are also fitting companions to the song’s lavish yet introspective splendor. Live Alone comes as a rhapsodic taste from Yuksek’s long awaited new album Nous Horizon, due to arrive February 24th on his own label, Partyfine.

Not only does this next breathtaking beauty feature exquisite vocals turned in by New York’s M. Maggie, but it’s a truly spectacular emotional ride crafted by Parisian producer Khamsin. Space builds eloquently, casting a grand symphonic spell with its orchestral flourishes and M. Maggie’s magnetic voice before peaking with exhilarating future bass drops. Despite its expansive and vast reach, Space feels intimate at its core, particularly during its slow simmering, tender brooding moments. Space is a free download, here.

A few weeks back, Brooklyn based neo-psych band Corbu revealed Battles, a track from their forthcoming debut album, and I found myself instantly head over heels for the song. Battles is a tidal wave of spacey sheer, gauzy sweeping synthpop dreaminess. Today, we re-visit the pastel hued enchanter via its captivating new animated music video. The clip’s soaring odyssey go hand in hand with Battles’ sweet shimmering melody and wide eyed wonder. Corbu’s debut album Crayon Soul is due out on August 5th.

There’s nothing better to kick off a glorious July 4th Independence Day holiday here in the U.S. then a new one off Weezer single named I Love the USA! This certainly isn’t the usual Weezer we’re used to. This one’s more a mellow piano drifter, and it’s gorgeous. Today, NASA’s Juno spacecraft arrives into Jupiter’s orbit after five long years. I Love The USA was written after NASA asked Weezer to write about Juno. There’s a bittersweet, poignant quality to the rather contemplative song.

Though Corbu’s new song is named Battles, it’s a rather tranquil sweeping, shimmering graceful beauty. The Brooklyn based neo-psych band are preparing to release their debut album, Crayon Soul, on August 5th. Battles is a tidal wave of gauzy sweeping, spacey sheer dreaminess that leaves me breathless and eager for Corbu’s first full length. Their music leaves me swaddled in warm pastels and lost in timeless reverie.

Foals’ 2015 album What Went Down is pure brilliance, and it’s undeniably one of my favorites of that year. Birch Tree is but one of many splendid tunes off the album. French producer Pyramid gives us a very new look at the song via his brilliant re-work of the tune, one which he calls the “Space” remix. Birch Tree takes on ethereal and metaphysical qualities on the transcendental edit. Pyramid aimed for the remix to represent a secret place with a powerful significance, a place where spirits can meet. His smooth arpeggios, spacey synths, and weighty drums fully achieve that effect, giving us an entrancing and profound, dreamy and introspective experience. I simply cannot get enough of this breathtaking edit. Pyramid takes me time and time again to hallowed grounds with his magical and spiritual remix.
