Just in time for his live San Francisco debut at Popscene tonight comes Kilter’s brand new single I Hear You. The Australian producer is currently on his first ever coast-to-coast tour before returning home in June to release his highly anticipated debut album. We can’t be more excited that we get to see him tonight. I’ll be fully prepared to dance to I Hear You, a full bodied, bass growling melodic banger. The swervy bouncing future pop confection is a mighty fine taste off of Kilter’s album Through The Distortion, set to arrive June 9th. You can pre-order the album now with various other goodies, here. IHM is giving away free entry/tickets to Popscene tonight. Alongside a sure to be magnificent set by Kilter, Los Angeles’ Madame Gandhi (former drummer for M.I.A and Thievery Corporation) will also be making her solo San Francisco debut with some very wicked tunes. Retweet on Twitter, here, by 5pm this afternoon for a chance to join us for an epic night.

Australian producer Kilter easily renders me a fool for him with Fool For You, his latest track featuring the sultry voice of Sydney’s Micah Jey. Kilter expertly blends trappy soul and future bass on the crisply opulent anthem.

Future funky guitar rounds out the splendiferous explosion of infectious electronica.

Fool For You drops as a single on March 25th on etcetc music.

The latest must listen remix of Chicago electronic act Autograf’s Janelle Kroll featuring original Metaphysical comes from Australia’s Kilter. His Metaphysical is a soulfully swelling edit that turns the tropics hued track into an ethereally shimmering futuristic bass and funk spectacle. Lusciously opulent and sizzling sultry, this remix is a propulsive dance floor filler.

Australian duo Porsches had me swooning from the get go with their debut song HORSES late last year, and I’ve been waiting for them to blow up since. This spectacular featuring spot on Kilter’s latest original, Want 2, will certainly light some fire under that process. Kilter’s glistening production, laced with euphoria inducing swelling synths, make for the perfect soundscape for Porsches’ satin smooth vocals. The electro pop leaning jam is a disco infused, future bass inflected, SAFIA evoking banger, but funkier. This one’s a bonafide summer anthem, and one of my favorite indie dance jams to arise in awhile. Want 2 will be available on iTunes come May 22nd.

Last month, Australian producer Kilter teamed up with Ngaiire to unleash a gorgeous original named Coward. I immediately fell in love with the song’s chilled out lusciousness. For an equally enchanting but far more buoyant and crisp version of Coward, we turn to a new official remix by Sydney’s Naderi. The producer give Coward a bold, stomping trap beat and plenty of effervescent atmosphere.

Opulent and resplendent comes Australian producer Kilter’s euphoric electronic treat, a beautiful, sigh inducing original named Coward. The track is a collaboration with fellow Australian act Ngaiire. The song has some moments that really remind me of another song I love dearly, Major Lazer’s most fluid and downtempo treat, the Amber Coffman featuring Get Free, but with a huge dose of sultry soul. Coward is actually off Kilter’s six track EP from over the summer, but he’s uploaded Coward for our listening pleasure on SoundCloud. It’s the latest single off the release, and it will be out December 12th, with remixes by Akouo, Naderi, and Jonas LR. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for the big reveal on those.

Mega talented Australian producer and multi-instrumentalist Kilter latest intoxicating remix is one of British trio Disciples’ fabulous house single Poison Arrow (which was co-produced by Shadow Child). Kilter takes the deep house beats and soulful vocals and spins them into a shimmering, summery, tropical rendition.

The wave of incredible new producers out of Australia lately is killing me! Killing me, I say! In a good way, of course! Adding to my growing list of stunning talent from Down Under is cln, or Callan Alexander. Like Flume or Kilter, he offers up some chill, future trap channeling electronic beats. Just listen to his new single, Better Than, and get ready to be carried away by the endless onslaught of shimmering, bedazzling synths, vocal samples, and beats. Better Than is the first single off a forthcoming EP titled Sideways, due out June 11. If you want more tasty beats from cln, stream his dizzying remix of Kilter’s They Say below, as well as his sick spin on Disclosure’s AlunaGeorge featuring White Noise
