This one’s probably been blasting in many a lad’s room all summer long back in the UK, where a whole lot of head banging and air guitar playing probably occurred, too. But here across the pond, I’ve managed to miss out on the rambunctious and boisterous jam till today. As soon as I encountered Let The Good Times Roll, I knew it was imperative to drop this UK punk rock banger on your radar, too. The frenetic single comes from BlackWaters, an emerging Guildford band with plenty of youthful angst.  Blackwaters takes influence from British punk circa ‘76 and reboots it for a new generation. They certainly remind me of The Clash and The Ramones on walloping Let The Good Times Roll, as well as a UK band I’m very fond of named Palma Violets. I can only imagine how much riotous fun it would be to catch BlackWaters live. Let The Good Times Roll is available on iTunes, here.
