Though it will forever be hard to top the vivacious funk and pop found on Capital Cities’ pervasive hit Safe and Sound, the Southern California indie outfit sure served up some wonky swaggering, glamorous whirling fun on excellent single Vowels last year. Montreal production whiz Robotaki takes us back to its high spirited world with a hot new electro remix. He infuses it with extra plump synths and juicy luscious French house hops. Robotaki says that Vowels was one of his favorite records this past summer. Hotel Garuda introduced him to the song, and he’s been hooked ever since. New original from Robotaki is on its way.
