We’ve been quite the fan of Austin production act Bronze Whale on IHM this past year. From the duo’s collaborations with other great producers to their own independent remixes, they’ve thrilled our ears plenty of times with resplendent tracks. Bronze Whale recently revealed their first original single off an upcoming EP, War Of Art, out June 16th. Van Gogh is a captivating, ethereal gem with heavy droning synths and a thick atmosphere, as well as a wide array of genre elements, from drum and bass and future bass to hip hop and trap. Sweden’s Jon Von Letscher offers up some gossamer vocals that bring some indie flavor to the gripping song. Crisp drum work and a hip hop styled beat make the song more intensely addictive with each new listen.
