There’s no denying the fact that I’m a huge Ben Khan fan. I mean, come on… that smooth voice, those saucy guitars, the swampy, woozy bass? The man’s a production and songwriting genius, blending R&B, blues, soul, funk, and electronic. On top of that, he’s also on point with his sensual, sexy delivery. Ben Khan often draws comparison to legendary Jai Paul, and I myself am guilty of that many times over. There’s also an Until The Ribbon Breaks sort of gritty flavor to some of his music, as can be heard on this track, 2022 Zodiac. It’s a buzzing, sample laden experience that seems to tell a heaving, prophetic story of darkness and doom. 2022 Zodiac is the final track to be revealed off Ben Khan’s 1000 EP, which you can stream in full below ahead of release next week on his own label, Blessed Vice.
