It’s been over half a year since I’ve had the pleasure of mentioning UK alt pop four piece Lisbon, but they’ve followed up their first single, Blue Love, with rip roaring new treat Rio. The dance punk flavored, energetic track still carries some of that island flavor we first heard on Blue Love, topped off with plenty of furious guitar riffs and tasty melody. It’s altogether insanely catchy and a whole lot of jump instigating fun. I can imagine how fantastic this track would be live, electrifying a crowd through and through. Watch Lisbon’s new video for the tune below. Rio will be available on iTunes come September 29. Let’s revisit Blue Love, too, since it’s been so long.
