What the HEY? In surprising news of the day for me, prolific and long standing trance producer Paul Oakenfold teamed up with Richard Benyon and controversial New York rapper Azealia Banks on an epic trance-rap-pop hybrid tune named Venus. Stream the “Ibiza Edition” above. It’s a slightly confusing mix of genres, but after being perplexed briefly, I found myself enjoying the track. Oakenfold lays down his signature trance euphoria and Banks sounds the least dirty and grimy yet. It sounds like an easy EDM heads’ hit sure to satisfy some kiddos at today’s mass raves. Bust out the glow sticks and figure eights!
