I’m really looking forward to Mansions On The Moon’s self titled debut album, out soon on October 22. Everything the Los Angeles band has revealed off the album so far has been terrific. All the tunes have been wonderfully dancey and intoxicating, but they’ve been quite versatile with the tunes, some of them more funky, some of them more electrifying. The latest taste they have for us is the nu-disco flavored The Truth, a lush and luxuriant track that glistens warmly, bouncing along airily and weightlessly with much splendor. As the late heat wave in San Francisco slowly resides, Mansions On The Moon manages to keep things balmy and summery for us for that much longer.
