Los Angeles alt pop act Parade Of Lights had one of the most infectious anthems of 2013 with Where The Kids Are. It’s so catchy that a television advert for Cadillac chose to utilize the tune. I would venture to say that very few people wouldn’t recognize the song, unless they don’t watch TV (and don’t read music blogs). Parade Of Lights proves to be a master of earworm tunes with latest track Golden, and again, the song has been selected to soundtrack something immense. Something even bigger than before, in fact! NBC’s promo commericals for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi is paired with, what else, but Golden! Golden is the title track of Parade Of Lights next EP, out sometime this spring.
