The captivating new live video for Zimmer’s Lost In Your Mind, featuring Fhin, is the perfect opportunity to ensure you haven’t missed out on the stunning collaboration since its appearance earlier this month. The xx like slick strings meet an atmospheric lush yet languid intoxicating electronic soundscape on this passionate burner. In a way, it’s fitting that Lost In Your Mind comes from the brilliant minds of two Parisian artists. Lost In Your Mind is like a brisk walk down the romantic streets of Paris at night, its brilliant lights flashing in the background while your mind hastily and feverishly twists with longing. You’re lost in a crowd of faceless shadows, but you barely notice. Zimmer and Fhin turn in an arresting performance on the downtempo dance song in their ruddy glowing video. Lost In Your Mind, which features Fhin as co-creator as well as vocalist and guitarist, can be found on Zimmer’s new EP, Ceremony, out now via Roche Musique. Purchase and stream from major services, here.

It’s a Parisian affair on this next breathtaking beauty, a remix of Fakear’s Silver, which features bewitching vocals by UK singer songwriter Rae Morris, by Zimmer. Those Frenchies prove time and time again they have such a magnificent handle on ethereal airy electronica. Zimmer’s rendition of Silver is a majestic mosaic. Each crystal fragment on this melodic wind chime reflects shards of light upon us, creating an other worldly effect with its myriad of elemental sound. Deep within its bowels is a foundation of deep house, but upon that bedrock, Zimmer has layered fragments from future and tropical house. The transcendental remix is a free download from Toneden.

I’m infinitely fond of Vallis Alps’ Young, and I consider myself very fortunate to have caught the exquisite song live these past months, both in San Francisco at Popscene and in Austin for SXSW. The Australian duo’s dulcet electronic pop gets a dusky mesmerizing dance makeover by Parisian producer Zimmer, who takes full advantage of the original’s elegant grace on his dreamy rippling deep house remix. The Balearic chill house of the edit even evokes Jamie xx but in a much more ambient misty fashion. This one’s perfect for drifting away.

It’s been nearly half a year since Zimmer dropped his lightly bouncing, softly shimmering song Coming Of Age, featuring satin vocals by Norwegian talent Emilie Adams. Now, we get to revisit that spellbinding nu-disco confection but accompanied by deep luscious bass and intoxicating wobbles. British producer JackLNDN has remixed Coming Of Age, giving it a deep house transformation with touches of opulent Flight Facilities meets marimba laden Autograf. The edit is part of a remix pack available now on iTunes via Roche Musique.

Zimmer will have you swaying in pure ecstasy to his latest offering, Coming Of Age, which features crystalline, elegant vocals courtesy of Norwegian singer Emilie Adams. It’s a welcome return as the French based, California born producer has been silent for half a year. It bounces with a light step and shimmers with a soft spark. The mellow deep house track is the perfect effervescent treat to chill out to on a warm summer night. Coming Of Age is the first single and title track from Zimmer’s upcoming EP, out July 10th on Roche Musique.

French producer Zimmer has dropped his first original of the year. On new track Saturday Love, he’s teamed up with his buddy and fellow Parisian producer Pallace to create a bouncy house tune with plenty of crisp high hats, exhilarating piano chords, deep bass, and lavish atmosphere. It’s an uplifting and thrilling dance jam that’s made for some eager dance moves. The producer says that he’s always been a fan of piano house. Well, golly, me too! Saturday Love is an homage with a modern twist. Note to self: make sure to dance around to this on Saturday. Zimmer will release a new four track EP on Roche Musique come June.

French producer Zimmer said he made this remix in Seoul, while wandering around the city at night to find inspiration. I’ve never been to Seoul (yet), but somehow, his description seems very on point for the vibe of this remix. Zimmer’s rendition of New Zealand chanteuse Brooke Fraser’s Kings & Queens is seductively playful and fitting for late night listening. Hints of disco blend with futuristic production on the lavish treat.

I’m very much fond of music by Wunder Wunder, the psych pop project that was formed by members of Australia’s Miami Horror. Their latest single Midnight Hours is quite the shimmering, beachy treat. For a more Miami Horror like approach on the song, check out French producer Zimmer’s remix of Midnight Hours, which takes it into far more epic, summery, nu-disco inflected dance territory, like some of Miami Horror’s music that I love.
