Bazzi might very well be the most exciting new tycoon-in-the-making when it comes to hip hop/R&B soul, his buzz continues to grow with each new day as more and more fans gravitate towards songs like Gone and Mine. We’ve already shared Electric Mantis’ remix of Mine, and talked about how his songs are resonating with some incredible producers, considering the edits that are coming to light these days. Now, let’s soar into the sky on the the wings of Vancouver production duo Young Bombs’ interpretation of Mine, too. An iridescent combination of smooth future bass and melodic soaring trap infuses Mine with expansive warmth. Young Bombs states that Mine is one of their favorite tracks of the year, and they went through an emotional journey while creating their gorgeous remix, which can also be streamed via Spotify, here.

Anytime I hear Bastille Dan’s melting voice, I can’t help but be reminded of his band’s meteoric rise back in 2013. We were gunning so hard for Bastille back then at IHM. They were one of our darlings of the year, and it came as no surprise and was such sweet victory when the UK band conquered the world with Pompeii. Though it’s tough to ever match the initial excitement from discovering and rooting for a band like Bastille, Glory, the stand out single from their 2016 album Wild World, is able to match some of those emotions. Particularly so now that it’s been officially remixed by Vancouver production elite, Young Bombs, who’ve given Glory a buoyant springing summer dance edit. It’s as dashing and ebullient as they come, a glowing eruption of joy and warmth to light up our day.

We continue to herald the impending arrival of spring and all the sunshine and joy it promises us with a euphoric remix of Captain Cuts’ ever infectious debut original Love Like We Used To. Vancouver duo Young Bombs, who’ve been rather quiet this year so far, break that silence with a fulgent remix. Their Love Like We Used To, despite its ambrosial diffusion of nostalgia, is a summer dazzler and a future tropical meets chill melodic heartwarmer.

Though I can’t say I’m that well versed in Fifth Harmony hits, being too deeply mired in searching for new indie and electronic gems to share with you, I find myself deeply enraptured by this remix of Work From Home by Vancouver’s Young Bombs, as I’m sure you will be, too. Work From Home transforms into a chromatic dazzling, buoyant jovial club banger in the dexterous hands of these electronic architects. Electro meets trap and future bass meets tropical house on the genre mashing, palatial soaring edit. The remix is a free download, here.

Vancouver production duo Young Bombs has been busy bodies of late, having released several excellent remixes, including a can’t miss transformation of Troye Sivan x Alessia Cara’s WILD, which I’ll append below. They follow up on that buzzing track with another phenomenal edit. This time, they’ve tackled Swedish songbird LÉON’s beautifully enchanting pop anthem Tired Of Talking. The lightly effervescent, spaciously sparkling official remix gives LÉON’s spellbinding voice plenty of room to blossom while surrounding her with a breathtakingly gorgeous future bass soundscape.

Scandinavian starlet Anna Of The North is simply magical on her sparkling electropop song The Dreamer. Vancouver’s Young Bombs takes charge of the tune and amplifies its ethereal wonder on a spectacular indie dance remix. The Dreamer soars, full of verve and light, on this cinematic blend of progressive pop house. Young Bombs’ remix bursts open like a bright eyed Porter Robinson and Anna Of The North collaboration. The rippling majestic tune is a free download, here.

Lost is a good way to describe how I feel after the last notes of Young Bombs’ latest remix fade into the thick, emotion heaving air around me. The Vancouver duo’s atmospheric rendition of fellow Canadian Connor Phillips’ moving downtempo electronic song Lost, though deeply meditative, is also overwhelmingly stirring. I nearly feel like Young Bombs has ripped my very heart from my chest with their expansive amalgamation of future bass, ambient electronica, and chill trap. The remix exudes a sense of solidarity and unity within its expansive depth and vast reach. Young Bombs serves up a sincere display of that universal vulnerability we all experience as we try to find our way through the confusing circumstances of this baffling thing we call “life”. Their magnificent remix is a free download, here.

What a wonderful remix to match a sad but beautiful story. Young Bomb’s had been working on this remix and it taken on a new meaning when Martin’s dad was diagnosed with aggressive cancer. The last week of his life he could not speak and Martin and his only could share space through their eyes. Martin hopes this remix helps anyone else who is hurting out there to heal.
