New Zealand’s BAYNK just dropped two fine new tunes the other day, and to miss out on any of those tracks would be nothing short of criminal. The producer enchants us with glossy sleek pop and dreamy burbling electronica on Be In Love. The sprightly prancing, elegantly rippling song is both entrancing and exhilarating, with eloquent keys and chiffon light vocals. In some ways, Be In Love is like Caribou and Sampha, encapsulated in a more subtle and silky soundscape. BAYNK’s new double-A side single also features exultant Years, a satin smooth electronic track that continues to spellbind us to the utmost. Stream Years below. Stream/download both tracks by way of major services, here.

From New Orlean comes a talented producer by the name of Shallou, and he crafts dusky, exquisite electronic songs sure to take you on an ethereal, dreamy journey. Reykjavik is his latest jam, a reverie inducing, sparkling delight. I’ve never been to Iceland, and have always wanted to visit… I imagine it to be as magical as how Shallou’s beautiful, minimalist song sounds. He reminds me of Australian producer Ta-ku on the song, with a some soulfulm Sampha like vocals gliding and swirling through the gorgeous soundscape. For another terrific, ambient treat from Shallou, also stream recent song Years below.
