We still don’t really know what the ‘H’ stands for in WOWH, but we can ascertain that ‘WOW’ is the correct sentiment when it comes to the British duo’s swaggering new tune, THE HITS. The pair caught our attention last year with a brisk kicking wall of synthpop and funk pop on Suffer, and they’ve since caught the attention of numerous fans with their slick strutting, confident swinging sound. They’re slated to appear at The Great Escape, Live at Leeds, Hit The North, and more this year. In the artwork for their latest single, London’s WOWH offers up a candy heart with the word “suffer” painted across its sugary surface in hot pink. If there’s any suffering to be done here, it’s well hidden behind a slick airy, brisk kicking wall of synthpop and funk pop, making Suffer as much a sweet alluring treat as that candy heart looks to be.
