After hitting us with a handful of sensuous simmering R&B and hip hop gems nearly a year ago (including a fabulously crafted Star Wars inspired song named OBI WAN) and dropping an ace EP named 8 Ball, London based singer songwriter Wolfie disappeared. She makes a punchy smoldering return with Better Than Me on which she collaborates with another breakout UK star, hip hop slinging Nadia Rose. Better Than Me, produced by Jordan Riley, is like FKA Twigs gone NAO, or 90′s R&B pop gone future wobbly. Nadia Rose’s head nodding verse adds raw cheeky sass to the tune. Wolfie is off to another great start this year.

From Star Wars referencing spectaculars to dusky sparklers, London based singer songwriter Wolfie and collaborative producer Show N Prove have been bringing us music bliss for nearly a year. The two come together once again on new song 100, their fresh and modern form of electronic R&B taking us to feverish fierce heights. Seductively sensual but edgy and dark 100 is a taste from Wolfie’s debut 8 Ball EP, a much anticipated eight track release that will drop May 6th as a free download on the artist’s Soundcloud.

Wolfie has a fine grasp on how to bewitch me with her dark, brooding music. It’s only been a little over a week since I first encountered the Londoner’s sensual, simmering music, so I’m ecstatic that Laura Wolfie is back with an infectious new hip hop and electropop laced R&B song named Drifting, produced by ADP. It’s the third sensational song from the magnetic new artist, and though Wolfie’s releasing tunes without any pre-planned strategy or accompanying announcements, I can’t help but hope that she’s building towards a debut EP. These songs are just too gripping and near spiritually good.

New London based singer songwriter Wolfie recently revealed her sensual second single, a trappy electronic R&B bewitcher named Come Over that was produced by Scotland’s Show N Prove. It’s a flushed, lustful seducer that really highlights Wolfie’s beautiful, crystalline voice. Show N Prove’s sparkling yet shadowy production is fully captivating despite its chill, serpentine ambiance. The single leaves a deep impression, marking Wolfie as one to watch.
