Jewels is a jewel indeed, albeit a rather dusky simmering, woozy shimmering gemstone that oozes sultry soulful heat from its rich layered peaks and valleys. The electro soul & alt R&B song arrives as the lead single from Belgian project WARHOLA’s debut album. Dynamic production, pudgy ravishing beats, and creamy falsettos send us spinning towards delirium on the exceptional new treat from this brainchild of singer songwriter and producer Oliver Symons. We’ll certainly be looking out for more news regarding said debut album.

Dark and fluttery, skittering and restless Lady is the second single from Belgian act WARHOLA, who first haunted us with soulful electronic pop debut Unravel nearly a year ago. His return is a rousing opus saturated with SOHN meets Portico sonic complexity, a similar recipe to the one which thoroughly riveted us previously on Unravel. The falsettos on Lady are exceptional, slicing sharply and effortlessly through Lady’s crestfallen ebbing and furiously swelling tides. Lady is solid evidence of WARHOLA’s exceptional singing, songwriting, and production talent.

Belgian band WARHOLA’s debut single Unravel is a spellbinding introduction to the five piece act, fronted by Oliver Symons. Darkly moody, the electronic pop and soul tune is deeply haunting and sensually rousing. Gripping falsettos glide across the track’s commanding bass and skittering percussion, creating a very organic and heady experience that seems to always be evolving and changing, at times like a SOHN meets Portico cocktail. A debut EP will be arriving later this year, and I can only imagine what other songs they’ll be mesmerizing us with.
