Silly me. I began playing Bloom Twins ‘Set Us Free’ and started sending the song to others to listen to when I remembered I can share it on the blog. These Ukrainian twins haunting vocals truly captivate on the dark electro pop track about freedom. Bloom Twins will have their debut album, which was produced by Duran Duran’s Nick Rhodes, out in 2017. They also have a gig in London in December. Please go see them for me.

If you’re a fan of dazzling, atmospheric, tear jerking chamber pop arrangements filled with dreamy, lush layers and sublime vocals, you should really spend some time with Massachusetts trio Gem Club. Their latest gem (pun intended!) is named Braids, and its replete with melancholic piano and bewitching harmonies. Gem Club will release a new album titled In Roses come January 28 on Hardly Art. It’s going to be a work of sentimental art and a good one to turn to when you’re in an introspective, pensive mood. For more breathtaking, but older, pieces by Gem Club, visit stringy Twins and hypnotizing Polly below, as well.
