Los Angeles based producer Tre Sera is relatively fresh on the scene based on the six months of remixes and originals he’s given us on his official Soundcloud page to date, but he’s certainly grabbed hold of our attention with a thrilling remix of Tove Lo’s Talking Body, still one of the Swedish pop star’s best singles (perhaps only topped by Habits). Tre Sera gives Talking Body a huge trap and future bass boost of energy with his exhilarating flip, which is available for download, here. Not only am I grateful for a much welcome Talking Body re-visit, but he’s given it to us in such a grand and scintillating manner, too. Check out the producer’s other tracks on Soundcloud, here.

If there’s any pop princess who’s cool, it’s Tove Lo, so full of saucy sass and fearless confidence. The Swedish chanteuse has held us under her spell from the very start, and it’s such a delight to see her achieve the level of success we always knew she would. As Tove Lo continues to ride the success of her second album, we turn to Two Friends for an airy lifting re-imagination of hit single Cool Girl. It doesn’t get more cool than this. The LA duo infuse the song with carbonated future bass and warm vibrant strings. There’s no denying the lure of this melodic brisk remix. It’s a whisk of fresh invigoration, so weightless and lithe. Cool Girl has never been more buoyant and comforting, liberating and freeing.

Israeli singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer ADI recently released a video for ‘Dreamin’. Amy has previously featured her on IHM but this is my first experience with her. She reminds me of a fusion of BANKS, Tove Lo, and Kehlani. ‘Dreamin’ is the lead track off her new EP, which is also titled Dreamin, set to release December 9th.

It was but last week that I had my first serendipitous encounter with brothel., a producer out of Colorado who likes to dabble in dark electronica. He had teamed up with UK producer SIDEWALKS AND SKELETONS on a witchy haunting treat named Drowning. Fast forward to this week, and guess who I encounter yet again with another dose of crepuscular deliciousness? brothel.! And this time around, he’s given Flume’s Say It, featuring the ever lovely Tove Lo, a sensationally serrated remix. This one’s right up my alley with its bristling synths and stewing beats. brothel.’s draggy witch trap interpretation of Say It is guttural and ghostly, visceral and eerie. Download the track for free, here.

It was but less than half a day ago that I was waxing poetic over Anna Lunoe’s entrancing deep house twist on Flume’s Say It, the smash hit featuring Tove Lo. Aside from that remix, we’ve also indulged in Clean Bandit’s edit previously, too. We now turn to French producer Stwo for his version of the track, also on the official remix package dropped last Friday. Say It gets a deep wobbling, guttural rippling turn under Stwo’s tutelage. It marches slow and deliberate, resolute and staunch, twisting nebulously around Tove Lo’s sharp slicing vocals. Stwo’s shadowy future bass approach shudders and tremors in the most beautifully stately manner. Stream or purchase all the tracks from Flume’s Say It remix pack, here.

Last Friday, the brilliant producer known as Flume released his remix package for Tove Lo featured hit Say It, one of so many amazing tunes off of Harley’s sophomore album Skin. Though everything off the package is flat out amazing, we’re going to focus on Anna Lunoe’s remix for the moment. Get ready for the grand and majestic as the Los Angeles via Sydney producer gives us her resounding take on Say It. Trumpeting flares, tenaciously entrancing beats, and Tove Lo’s ever sassy topline make this deep house meets trap hybrid a cavalier and tenacious thriller. Stream the full Say It Remix package featuring the original single and additional edits by Clean Bandit, SG Lewis, and Stwo on Soundcloud

Yesterday brought some sad news to long time Clean Bandit fans like me, but it also gave us some sweet sonic euphoria to balance that bereaving information. Clean Bandit violinist Neil Amin-Smith announced his departure from the band, a rather bitter pill to swallow considering my early affection for this group grew out of the UK collective’s unique fusion of soulful dance music and classical strings. Yet my spirits are lifted with the arrival of a remix of Flume’s Say It, featuring Tove Lo, by this very collective. I’ll let you digest what I just wrote for a moment. Flume. Tove Lo. Clean Bandit. All in one. Clean Bandit gives Say It a makeover clearly their own. Tove Lo’s spunky fierce vocals dart through an airy lithe, frisky light, balmy glowing soundscape. For a moment, we’ve forgotten about the news about Neil. It’s obvious Clean Bandit will have far more to offer us going forth despite the news. You can purchase or stream Clean Bandit’s Say It remix from various other outlets, here.

It’s been an exhilarating ride on the Tove Lo train for I Heart Moosiq, having caught on to the Swedish pop star’s talent from early on. We’ve been eagerly awaiting new music from the chanteuse, and she doesn’t disappoint with her follow up to fabulous debut album Queen Of The Clouds. Cool Girl is signature Tove Lo, awash with an abundance of spunky and fiery electronic pop. In fact, Cool Girl was inspired by the movie Gone Girl, which seems a logical fit to this charismatic artist’s gutsy fortitude. Stay tuned for news of Tove Lo’s forthcoming sophomore album.
