I was really hoping I’d get to see Wallows again at one of the many showcases they played at for SXSW last week, but alas, it wasn’t in the stars. But at least I was lucky enough to see them when they sold out the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco earlier this year, and what a show that was, too! The Los Angeles based band, whose ranks include actor Dylan Minnette, stirred the crowd into a frenzy with their infectious songs. Today, Wallows, who are on a fast ascent in the indie scene, return with news of their debut EP Spring as well as a first taste from the record named These Days. Spacey psych rock meets breezy sashaying indie rock on the track. These Days kind of reminds me of Noah and the Whale gone Tame Impala, which is a recipe I quite like, apparently. Wallows debut EP will feature six new songs, all of which I can’t wait to hear. These Days is available from iTunes, here. Follow Wallows on their website, here, for show announcements.

British drum and bass and soulful electronica collective Rudimental teamed up with an impressive list of collaborators on their new single, These Days, which is lifted from their forthcoming third album. Soul pop sensation Jess Glynne, rap mogul Macklemore, and rising R&B soul artist Dan Caplen join forces with Rudimental on the magnificent hymnal. The brassy soulful anthem is available, here. Hopefully, the arrival of These Days is a sign of many more new Rudimental songs and collaborations to come as we await further news regarding the new album.

If you don’t believe that electronic music can be beautifully soothing and tenderly moving, let me show you this effervescent gem, These Days. It’ll caress your heart with gently swelling synths and soft twinkling beats, as well as airy wafting vocals by Zoe Maxwell. These Days is UK producer James Carter’s latest lush stirring future bass masterpiece, rife with smooth keys.

These Days is a chiffon, cottony aria, steeped in bittersweet nostalgia and awash in a sanguine glow. Stream on Spotify, here.

London based, Irish-born musician Samuel showcases a sensational style of airy music via gorgeous, languorous heart breaker These Days. His exquisite vocals are poignantly emotive and entrancing. These Days is a swirling, weightless dream, a melancholic yet sublime song with the aftertaste of an incredibly sweeping romance, a faded story to wax nostalgic over. The song’s stunning atmospheric production is the work of fellow British act Kwes. I’ve melted straight into my chair while listening to These Days, and I don’t think I can get up. The single will be out on Big Dada come July 31st

OFFICIAL VID: Foo Fighters – These Days

Ah, here it is. This was supposedly announced yesterday, then quickly retracted offline for some reason. Here’s a video consisting of live footage for Foo Fighter’s track These Days. There’s some great concert shots in here, but who else thinks there’s just a little too much gratuitous Dave Grohl hair flipping? The song is pretty much a standard Foo track. Good stuff, but nothing groundbreaking.
