I’ve mentioned my love of SOHN’s productions countless times in the past. His debut album Tremors is one of my favorites this year. One of the best songs off that release is The Wheel, and if you’re going to remix that tune, you’d better do it well, otherwise I may be displeased. German producer Mazde did not displease me with his chill trap and future bass rendition of the song. He does quite the opposite, delighting my ears to the max. On his remix, which premiered on Stoney Roads last week, Mazde leaves SOHN’s immaculate vocals intact, but gives the song some extra thrilling percussion and shimmers.

By now, you should be fully aware of my love for Vienna based producer SOHN. The Wheel is only one of so many amazing tunes by the artist, who blew my mind away when I last saw him live with a backing band. I’m also a fan of UK producer Luvian, who is very adept at creating hazy, lush, dreamy soundscapes in his productions. So, what happens when Luvian remixes SOHN? Beautiful bliss. That’s what happens.

OFFICIAL VID: SOHN – Bloodflows

April 30, 2013

Let’s go back to the brilliant soulful electro pop stuff with this new video. London artist/producer SOHN’s Bloodflows is goosebump inducing, beautiful, and sorrowful. The track starts out very quiet with his angelic vocals, then soon starts to stutter and pick up passionately. It climbs to some powerful climaxes.

For some more SOHN brilliance, listen to the below.
