A fresh tune from The New Coast is cause for much excitement, particularly after the dry spell the London outfit has given us after releasing their ace debut EP Paraga Beach last fall. The New Coast just supported KYKO on his UK tour and sold out their ‘Made In Chelsea’ showcase at Camden Assembly. They’ve also announced their debut London headline show at Thousand Island on November 30th. Sleeptalk arrives just in time to fire up even more excitement for the show, at least for the lucky British fans who are able to attend. The alt pop single is a smooth sonorous, euphoric soaring taste from their new EP, My Kind Of Medicine, out this November. Speaking about ‘Sleeptalk’ – Nick Blyth explains “‘Sleeptalk’ felt massively cathartic for us and allowed us to explore a really personal moment in a cinematic, 3 minute pop song. Lyrically, for me, it pin points a delicate moment between two people, people who are just starting to get to know each other, but also notice these colorful and intense emotions in a very short period of time.” Tickets for The New Coast’s debut headlining show in London can be found, here. Pre-order their new four track EP, here.

I’ve yet to visit Australia, though the continent is certainly high up there on my list of dream vacations. If The New Coast’s Melbourne is any indication, the voyage may be life changing indeed. The London duo sweep us off our feet with lustrous melodic alt pop on Melbourne. This gorgeously sleek song drowns us in golden rivulets of bittersweet emotion, like a melting mixture of Kodaline and The 1975. Melbourne comes from The New Coast’s forthcoming debut EP, Paraga Beach, out this Friday, November 4th via LAB Records. Pre-order, here.

The New Coast’s Lost In Your Love, which was co-produced by David Goodes and KYKO, was one of my favorite debuts earlier this year. The London duo swoop back into the center of our radar with the announcement of a debut EP and their second single, Slow Down, a slow shimmering, sentimental swaying fusion of Americana tinged indie rock and smoky nostalgic summer pop. This is a ‘lighters in the air’ type of moving ballad, a crowd harmonizer that will leave us holding the hands of the strangers next to us as we sing along softly as one, our hearts heavy and full. The New Coast’s debut EP, Paraga Beach will be out November 4th via LAB Records. Pre-order, here

The New Coast gave me yet another debut track to be endlessly giddy and immensely excited over today. Also from London, the new duo drenches us in shimmering bliss and soaring melody with Lost In Your Love, a song both achingly tender and sweepingly vivacious. Lost In Your Love was co-produced by Scott Verrill of KYKO, which comes as no huge surprise considering its dreamy tropical haze. It’s as if KYKO had blended in with some Bastille alongside some heart string tugging Kodaline on the rousing indie pop debut, which will be out February 26th via LAB Records. Pre-order, here.
