I was fondly reminiscing over all the amazing times I’ve caught The Griswolds live the other day, when this new collaboration popped up on my radar to tickle my ears and move my feet. The Australian indie rock band make a welcome cameo on East Coast producer Prince Fox’s latest single, a vivacious thrumming, mellifluous burbling treat named Time Alone. Buoyant pumping beats and ravishing keys adorn the exultant song, which walks a fine line between indie dance and electro house. The Griswolds even bring an alt flavor to the track. Time Alone is certainly a departure from some of Prince Fox’s earlier future bass and future pop offerings, but we’ve long known about this gifted producer’s dexterity. Infectious Time Alone is out now on Dim Mak. Find it on Spotify, here.

I’ve been waiting for brand new The Griswolds for what feels like an eternity, having developed a deep adoration for the Aussie band a few years ago ahead of their debut album Be Impressive (which was indeed very impressive). The quartet has certainly made the wait worth it with a their vibrant new single Out Of My Head. Once you’ve heard the song, there’s no way its sun soaked indie pop and hooking indie rock would ever leave your “head”. In fact, you’ll want to return to it over and over again, relishing in its anthemic chorus and radiant ebullience. Out Of My Head is out now on iTunes.

Australian alt pop band The Griswolds gave us a fantastic debut album in 2014 named Be Impressive, and I’d love to revisit it in full soon as it’s been some time since my last listen. For now, we get to launch into a new remix of album track Aurora Borealis by seemingly never sitting still and always killing it producer Luca Lush. I’d venture to say that the melody and vocals on Aurora Borealis do not easily lend themselves to remixing, but Luca Lush does an incredible job morphing the original into a choppy, bouncing future beats track ripe with endless shimmering, dashing energy. It’s a colossally unique edit. one that has me going back for more listens.

I’ve said it before, many a time, and I’ll say it again. Chicago duo Win and Woo always pick some of my favorite acts and songs to remix. I suppose this means our fantastic music tastes must aligns, or as they say, great minds think alike. I’m saying that all in jest, of course, but I can’t help but jump with joy to the fact that the electronic duo’s latest remix is a bright eyed and blithe official edit of Australian indie poppers The Griswolds’ Right On Track. The hooking original is off The Griswold’s fantastic debut album Be Impressive. In fact, it might be one of the most catchy songs on the album. Win and Woo are on point with their delivery of a tropical version of Right On Track. I can literally feel the heart warming incandescence lifting off the remix and wafting into me. Remind me to blast this on repeat when El Nino hits this fall. It’ll keep things toasty and jovial.

Australia’s The Griswolds charmed the pants off many with their indie pop gem Beware The Dog. For Future Tropical, Issue 2, Chicago production act Autograf turns in a deliciously balmy and feathery remix of that very jam, giving it plenty of tropical warmth and a sprightly, springy feel. The remix is another blissful, euphoric offering and it follows on Autograf’s Future Tropical, Issue 1, a mind blowing remix of Lorde’s Team, which you can revisit below, ICYMI. These versatile guys are doing amazing things with their ongoing release series. I can’t wait to hear what’s next in line for both the Future Nites and Future Tropical series! I also can’t wait for summer to come around again, but I guess that’s kind of far, far away. I’ll have to dream about it through Autograf.

I’m sharing Little Daylight’s My Life again, now that there’s a music video, even though it’s only been a week or so since I featured the audio for the new “Friends Edit” of the track, off Little Daylight’s album Hello Memory. The fantastic new version features the Brooklyn synthpop act’s buddies, whom IHM loves a lot too, including The Griswolds and Young Rising Sons. It’s a triple play that combines the mad catchy pop tendencies of three fast rising acts that are individually terrific all by themselves already.

I caught Brooklyn electropop act Little Daylight opening for Clean Bandit on Saturday, and though it was my fourth or so time watching them live, their vivacious, catchy songs were still such thrilling treats. Today, Little Daylight has offered up a new remix, or “Friends Edit”, of their song My Life, off debut album Hello Memory. What’s even more delightful about the re-working is that the rendition features two other acts that I’m very fond of, both fast rising stars in the indie scene. Who? None other than Australia’s The Griswolds and New Jersey’s Young Rising Sons. Talk about a triple power indie treat from the music gods! When else would we ever see these three together, all on one song? Each one is so capable of flooring us already with their own originals!
