Much respected French producer Fred Falke offers up a slick and soaring remix of British pop artist Will Young’s Thank You. The original’s infectious melody and earnest sentiment are taken to new expansive heights on the regal and majestic summer edit. Fred’s remix is a liberating experience, with its unfettered flow and grand build up.

It would seem from circumstance that I dig bands who replace various alphabet letters with V’s. I mean, there’s CHVRCHES, of course, and then there’s these guys, All Tvvins. The Irish duo swooped me away a few months ago with their driving song Thank You, and now they’re back with a hot and muggy offering named Too Young To Live. Its punchy funky beat once again reminds me of some of Foals’ dance rock, but this time around, All Tvvins goes way more Breton like electro and synth on us. In fact, there are some brief near Justice like moments on the track, but offset with their smooth, sexy vocals and a summery, neon 80′s vibe. If you missed Thank You earlier this year, never fear, I’ll tack on the music video for the fantastic track below.

Apparently, talented bands like to use the letter “v” to replace other letters in their names. We all know and love CHVRCHES, but new on the block comes Irish duo All Tvvins. I’m presuming the double v’s represent a ‘w’, but correct me if I’m wrong. The Dublin act swoops on to the scene with a driving indie rock debut, Thank You. It’s a punchy alt tune that certainly demonstrates the influence that TV On The Radio has been on their music. All Tvvins also consider Animal Collective one of many big influences. As a die hard fan of TV On The Radio, I more than approve of their melodic guitars and riveting vocals. All Tvvins has a number of live dates coming up, including gigs supporting Jungle. In the past, they’ve impressively supported such brilliant acts as Arcade Fire and Pixies. Some of my all time favorite bands are getting shouts in this feature. It bodes well for All Tvvins.

I know many of us are very excited about Norwegian electronic duo Röyksopp’s new album The Inevitable End, out very soon on November 11 via Cherrytree / Interscope. While we’re waiting, stream one of the album tracks, the mellow and airy Thank You, a honeyed electropop leaning listen reminding me of some of Daft Punk’s recent and more chill work.

Ah, Amber Run, once again I find myself reduced to a puddle on the floor thanks to your sweeping, beautiful alt rock music. The UK act has released a third song from their upcoming Pilot EP, out September 21st on RCA Victor, and Thank You, like everything we’ve heard from them to date, is a moving, sentimental gem. These guys quickly placed themselves square on my bands to watch list with earlier songs like I Found and Pilot. Their sound always reminds me of a cinematic, soaring blend of acts like Coldplay, Kodaline, and Bastille. With music as touching as theirs, I’m sure they’re on the path to great success. Let’s revisit I Found below again! Because it’s so good!

I’m really loving the fact that a lot of producers lately have been churning out fantastic remixes of older tunes, like the Madison Avenue one I just posted prior to this feature. Dido’s Thank You was an endearing single that so many people loved. Los Angeles production duo Goshfather & Jinco show off their mad skills with this super sick future beats remix of the song. What an invigorating flip! Who would’ve predicted years ago that Dido and trap would come together on one track?

The Neighbourhood has really been gaining a lot of attention lately with their sultry pop rock sound. They plan on releasing a new 7" in January titled Thank You, and here’s the first track to be previewed off that 7", A Little Death. It’s some sexy, moody stuff.
