New York based Philadelphia band Matt Pond PA has been around for some time now, delighting my ears many years over. I first became a fan back in the mid 2000′s when Matt Pond graced the soundtrack for television hit series The O.C., a show that was rather transformative for me in terms of broadening my music tastes and showing me how much I loved to discover new music. The indie rock band has countless albums out, but they’re about to drop new album The State Of Gold on June 30th via Doghouse Records. I have a feeling it’s going to be another solid release. Just listen to Take Me With You, a pop imbued, sun kissed summer anthem. It’s a glorious, soaring song, an exhilarating and freeing listen.
