Love Somebody is one of several incredibly divine collaborative tracks that was bestowed upon us by Australian talents Ta-ku and Wafia. That fleecy enchanting jewel gets a Mr. Carmack treatment today, an unexpected and oh so heavenly treat. The respected Hawaiian producer remixes Love Somebody into a bouncy infectious dance jam. Peppy beats, sprightly chords, and glitchy future beats strikes us with lightning euphoria. Download Mr. Carmack’s snazzy chic remix from major outlets, here.

This may be the second track I’ve shared today related to Australian super team Ta-ku and Wafia, but it’s one not to be taken lightly. Canadian electronic prodigy Ekali gives us a cosmic interpretation of the duo’s ravishing collaboration Meet In The Middle, transforming the original into a vast and expansive future bass masterpiece full of wonder. Ekali takes my breath away and humbles me with his twilight remix. All the little spats and grudges of daily life seem so inconsequential in the face of such cinematic lush beauty. Download Ekali’s transcendental remix from Toneden.

We already know how divine of a union it is when producer Ta-ku partners up with fellow Australian artist Wafia. After all, we’re all still reeling from the dark, haunting beauty of their future R&B song Meet In The Middle. Well, lucky for us, Ta-ku’s new EP (m)edian is a full on collaborative effort with Wafia, and we’ll get to hear it in full very shortly on August 5th via Future Classic. As we count down the days, Ta-ku and Wafia regale us with another track off the EP, a mellifluous gem named Love Somebody that sees them crossing into fleecier, softer pop territory. (m)edian can be pre-ordered now from iTunes.

An all Aussie collaboration between amazing singer songwriter Wafia and brilliant producer Ta-ku can only be divine, and sure enough, Meet in the Middle is haunting exquisite. Its booming bass, skittering beats, and ghostly atmosphere create a rather ominous setting for which the duo to hover in and deliver sweet darts of vocal enchantment. The syrupy dark, nebulously sensual ballad is a compelling exhibition of future R&B and trap imbued chill electronica. Ta-ku and Wafia meet in the middle, delivering us a viscous slow burner that oozes plenty of each artist’s charisma. Meet In The Middle is the first single off their joint EP, out June 24th on Future Classic. Pre-order now from iTunes and get Meet In The Middle as an instant download.

Wafia’s Heartburn is without a doubt one of the best tracks to surface from the latter portion of 2015. Released on Future Classic, Heartburn tiptoes and creaks, grinds and snakes with an aching wistfulness. The 22 year old Australian singer songwriter teamed up with producers Ta-ku and Andre Eremin on the future tinged electro pop stunner. A new live video has been released for the yearning beauty, a live recording from MoMA PS1 in New York. Heartburn is taken from Wafia’s XXIX EP, out now on iTunes via Future Classic.

WAFIA teams up with producers Ta-ku and Andre Eremin on new single Heartburn. It’s the latest single from the 22 year old Australian singer songwriter who wooed me last year with her guest vocal spot on Japanese Wallpaper’s Breathe In and with a gorgeous cover of Mario’s Let Me Love You. Heartburn is a crisp electronic pop beauty that marches ahead steadily and deliberately, simmering ever gently with ponderous yearning. The new original comes from WAFIA’s XXIX EP, due out November 20th on Future Classic.

Opening with elegant, gentle piano, Ta-ku’s Love Again is an obvious swooner from the get go. The Australian producer’s new single is a sensual collaboration with JMSN and Sango from his forthcoming EP, Songs To Make Up To. Looks like he meant it with the EP name. Love Again is a sugary concoction full of soulful R&B and gospel passion. I’d forgive near anything if this were crooned to me in person. Smooth, real smooth, guys. The new EP will be out on June 12.

Australian producers Loston and Ta-ku join forces on a majestic new offering, No Reason. With those two at the helm, what a force to be reckoned with! No Reason is a thrilling, captivating track that samples from Foxes’ Count The Saint. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Foxes, and it’s such a pleasure to hear her voice again, as choppy and glitchy as it is on this wizardy that Loston and Ta-ku has cooked up for us.
