Dutch garage punk rockers St. Tropez return with gritty melodic chugger I Want To Live In St. Tropez. Though I’ve never visited St. Tropez, I wasn’t too far from the town when I visited the French Riviera last fall. From all that I saw of the area, I have an inkling I’d love to live in St. Tropez, too. The quartet proclaim their love for the balmy Cote d’Azur destination by ripping into their guitars and yelping with much boisterous passion. The spirited chunky song is a taste from the band’s self titled debut album, due out August 26th. I Wanna Live In St. Tropez is a rattling delight, a burst of noisy spunk. The single is available now from iTunes.

It may come as a surprise that garage punk rockers St. Tropez is a four piece from Amsterdam, considering their gritty, grungy, fiery sound. Today, the newcomers let loose their debut self titled EP, chock full of four rattling, rambunctious tunes. Cut Me Loose is the new single off the release, an earthquake of energetic percussion, spunky vocals, and noisy guitars. For another boisterous, smoldering treat off the EP, stream Las Vegas below. While I’m on Fyfe, I’m going to continue with another spanking new remix. This time, the song remixed is Fyfe’s St. Tropez. The remixer? French producer Kulkid. The end result is a tropical, Balearic gem that truly makes me yearn to vacation on some resort island in the Mediterranean. And wait till you hit the 2:48 mark. Weeee.  Fyfe is releasing a Remixes EP on September 8. This wonderful track will be on it. Listen to the old world charm filled original below. Oh, how I love my brass horns. This Fyfe guy… he’s pretty awesome.

Oh boy. Y’all probably think I purposefully post an endless array of music out of the UK. I really don’t mean to do it. It just so happens there’s endless great music coming out of there these days. Well, boys and girls, here’s some more! Fyfe is a young musician out of London, previously known as David’s Lyre, real name Paul Dixon. His latest song is the synthy burner Conversations. It comes on the heels of several other stand out, grandiose tunes off his Solace EP in the past few months, which I’ll eagerly share with you below. Conversations is a brand new track not from that EP. I love his dramatic production on these tracks. I’m guessing he has a debut album in the works?
